Hello everyone I have two questions about memberships. The first one is when inputing my card when it asks for cardholder name this isn't visible to anyone, the name of the account is visible to the streamer but not the cardholder name, right? The second question is what does the charge show up as on the bill statement, like does it just say Youtube or does it include channel name? I know they're stupid questions but I am retarded and extremely concerned about privacy

not sure about your first question, but i use Paypal for memberships and it shows up as just "google" on the bill statement

You pay google, I suppose google has your name. The chuuba only gets paid by google, they can only see your chat name.

My mom was super paranoid of being spied on and people getting our information so I was taught from birth to never put real information anywhere on the internet. I wasn't even allowed to use my real birthday for animal crossing

Yeah cause I'm scared of other people on the internet

Good advice in general, but you're going to have a payment profile as soon as you actually start to buy things online. As said earlier, the streamer will never see any of your info (just Google), and Google probably knows what your favorite tags are unless you are using a VPN/TOR 24/7. Regardless, whoever you're membering will never see your info regardless of payment method.

You can pretend its about the internet but that's only so far as because it's a place where you can easily get away with lying.
I'm not daft.

Alright thanks. I don't care if google gets my name, they probably already got it off my computer files or something, as long as no one can find it

Some extra advice: unless you are a literal lolcow or have some mass grudge against you or are some naïve oil baron, no one on the internet cares about you. No one cares where you live or how old you are or what your name is. There's probably nothing special about you. Anyone can look you up through property records, voting info, or any number of public info sites. Unless you really give someone a reason to doxx you, even if it's easy to do so, no one ever will. Doing personal OPSEC reps is admirable, but there is a limit to what matters.

Dunno. Probably. Card privacy is a bit of a big deal and they don't need the cardholder's name to steal from you anyway.

>what does the charge show up as on the bill statement
Mine shows as "Google Youtube Member"
