I've always been more into the musical side of hololive and Council dropped the ball there for me sadly.
Looks like an Bae is stepping up which is nice.

I need an indie that doesn't have any boyfriend drama surrounding her 24/7, both Holo and Niji all have that so I'm stuck with digging through the dirt.

i like ina but she hasn't done anything interesting in a while and how her net is out. she's been doing less drawing streams which was what really attracted me to her

bae has been watchable but she's attached at the hip to mori and irys, and while both of which have their moments, are mostly just bland as shit

i honestly have no idea how anyone watches the rest of myth or council, what do you see there that you can't find in any other generic streamer or content creator?

Holo EN never had any magic, even from the beginning there were hardly expectations for them. They never had to struggle or have had any memorable moments together that made the EN branch enjoyable.

you get all the benefits of indies (closer chat interaction, for example, when you don't have to compete with 10k other retards in chat, also more spontaneity, creativity, game perms etc with less bigcorpo buerocratic overhead that sucks the fun out of everything) with none of the detriments of indies / some of the good things about corporations (group structure, common-sense rules keeping some of the worst indiecancer behavior restricted, etc.)

If you ask around and say what you're looking for in a vtuber / what Hololive girls you have previously enjoyed, other helpful /smallcorpo/friends will give you fitting suggestions to check out

But sure, whatever your grievances are, don't mind me. If you think someone is a whore and that significantly impacts your enjoyment, then simply don't watch them, no matter if big corpo, small corpo or indie. I'd be the last to disagree.

My point was more to the OP being disillusioned with HoloEN (he didn't state his reasons why, but "whores" didn't come up, so it's anyones guess), and suggesting he can just broaden his horizons and watch other chubas beyond Hololive, because there's some great people out there if you just stop limiting yourself for no better reason than blind brand bubble loyalty.
If "hurrdurr I only need Hololive, cuz Hololive's da best!" is working out for you, that's great, keep at it dawg, but it's apparently not working anymore for OP, and as long as he means he's not totally fatigued from the concept of vtubers in general, just Hololive specifically, being aware of other, potentially better fitting options can help and may rekindle that love of vtubers you had before you got bored with Hololive only.
