Lumi's sister was, from what i can tell, the only child of xi_ho before cyberlife commissioned them as well. this is connection 3 since lumi got xi_ho as her mama, the same as someone associated with a past yunity model. now what are ACTUALLY the odds of that, /vt/ bros? so far we have 3 artists that trace back to yunity (nam, moshie and reinly) and one that is associated with yunity (xi_ho). the odds for me would be almost completely 0, but would be a fuckton higher if we use the rrat of 17 manager being one and the same as truth.

now this is meds needed speculation grounds, but what if we say meraiki and maria are one and the same? old yunity talent leaves and becomes an indie of her own. misaki, knowing this, keeps tabs on her and probably other old talents. sees one of the girls could afford a high quality model and snatched the mama (xi_ho) for her second attempt at a vtuber group once again?

1. when the underage manager up and left with all the assets. This led to the whirlwind of them finding out she was 17 the whole time and having a "meeting" with her boyfriend/the company owner. After which, they were all uncomfortable and wanted to leave still.

As you can see, Hylo and Yuri's names as there, so if this doesn't prove to y'all that Yunity became Cyberlive idk what else will lol.

2. A talent later express she still wanted to leave, and then being threatened by the company owner. Literally threatening to take her to small claims court lol.

3. The 17 year old manager, who the talent heard was removed from the project, now messaging the talent as they're trying to leave and telling them they're awful for not paying for their models and giving her boyfriend back his investment. (can't find the screenshot anymore, this was from awhile time ago, but he was threatening to make the talents pay for up to one year of his lost royalties as well as the model + asset costs.)

4. One of the talents simply saying it didn't say she couldn't leave before debut, and then the company owner responding like a dumbass, lmao.

Coming in with a bit of tea regarding Yunity > Cyberlive so hold onto your seats. Source is from a friend who was one of the Yunity talents. For their privacy, I'm going to be keeping their identities private.

Basically, a lot of the Yunity talents were scouted, some girls had premade models (the ones that auditioned for Yunity) but the rest got to make their own. Everything seemed fine until they found out the manager (the person behind the manager character) was a MINOR who was dating the guy who funded it, who was definitely not a minor. They withheld that info from the talents, who were all a bit disturbed to be getting bossed around by a 17 year old, lol. All the talent expressed wanting to quit because 1. they didn't wanna work with a minor who had lied about her age 2. they didn't want to work with the guy who owned the company because he was dating a minor and 3. despite quite a few getting to "design" their characters, a lot of the assets came out really horribly and the manager just kinda did whatever she wanted/ignored talent wishes. She literally wouldn't let them handle any of their own assets.

After they all quit, most of the girls offered to buy their characters (since they designed them) if they could afford, but later changed their minds because it was pretty ruined at that point I think - they gave him permission to sell and such with proper credits or recast if he kept Yunity going. After that, the guy running the company threatened to sue them all for not buying their models, saying that according to their contract, they owed him for the model + asset costs and one year of what their earnings would've been (there was no such clause anywhere in the contract). He eventually stopped and just sold everything, saying him and his minor girlfriend had nothing to do with the project anymore and sold off all the assets... Also worst part is, I'm p sure one of the old talents designed Hylo and didn't get any credit because manager-san is petty, lmao.

I see a few things that rolled over from Yunity (I remember my friend would show me stuff and do the whole #HyloSupremecy, so that was something they came up with), that I'm pretty sure the girl who is the manager is still the previous manager from Yunity, don't know for sure tho.

Nothing against the current talents, pretty sure they have no idea about any of this, but management is probably the same awful management from Yunity.

Failure to launch basically. Some girls stream nonstop for years even to like 20 viewers and don't care if they're inclining or declining because streaming is fun for them, a little group social activity to chat with randos while enjoying yourself etc. It eventually can pay off, just not always. I mean, several of the JP HoloX girls had been 2view indies for like 2-3+ years running before insta-success suddenly; Ironmouse used to stream to like 20 people etc. It's a passion thing, you can't will people to have it if they don't. I wished Hylo would develop it but it just did not seem to come to pass and it's a selfish desire anyway so I wish her well.

Unironically yes, they thought that fucking "first 3D in the west!" was a ticket to easy gains.
Think about that for a second. A concept that would see very rare usage, a novelty if you will, would give them incline.
And to top it off, the 3D stream was poorly planned, poorly managed (as is the style at CL), and the poorly executed.
Reply to me with some cringe shit if you want, but I'll say it now, the manager responsible for that stream needs to rethink how naive they are and start thinking concrete, stats-backable plans for growth that don't rely on praying to RNG or relying on your fans to do the heavy lifting for you.
