I am going to take back what i said about china viewers not using nts to donate. Yes most china vtuber viewers don't do it but luxiem's fanbase is special and belongs to another faction called 饭圈. This chinese net term refers to the china equivalent of kpop stans. For some context, some holo fanbase want to gatekeep holos from e-celebs to prevent twitch fanbase from invading. It is the same for china vtuber audience, they are scared of 饭圈 coming in to invade and destroy their vtuber community and culture. My years of experience lurking in china net community for the purpose of pirating music cds and doujins and i can tell you it is really easy for a china fandom/community to fall apart due to invasion or other issues. Anyway, good luck to the luxiem boys, they need to be self aware of their fanbase and know how to navigate around the potential issues before the third faction 乐子人 aka dramaniggers come in and cause problems.

only partially correct. they DID clip and translate to help bring hololive to the western world but they also did a lot of shady things. they would copystrike smaller clippers and thus hold a monopoly on the clipping scene. even without them I still believe hololive would've florish in the western market since niji is too stubborn and not gaijin friendly due to their culture.
