No, I have zero interest in Japan or anime, I found Kizuna AI interesting because she was playing PUBG and I liked PUBG when that was a thing, and there's was something funny about a cute girl who can barely speak English swearing and freaking out over a game I liked. Same story with the Korone/Miko/Pekora stuff, I just thought they were really cute and watching them say/do dumb stuff whilst playing games I liked made me laugh.
