Did Bae show us any special quirk? Mumei already went through her berry addiction, special choice of games and creepy art. Bae's coffee addiction is nothing uncommon (other than Mumei again who goes wild on caffeine). The only thing, (some) brats probably have, is the strong desire to mating press Bae. But it's fine and cozy in /rrat/. It resembles the streams well.

We barely existed at first, and it's highly probable that /nasa/ had more activity than us. The only thing we had at the start was piss and diapers. The latter were swiftly quashed, while the former still lives, in a lesser capacity, but still lives.
I guess our quirk would be to be fairly resilient and normal/unity in comparison to the rest of the board/generals? We rarely take the bait, most of the time we don't let anyone shittalk other chuubas in the company, and anyone trying to cause a stink is ignored and/or told to fuck off.

We were definitely at the bottom of activity out of all the Council splits for a while. I remember it was just me and this other brrat bumping the thread during NA hours, and then hoping that theres enough activity during SEA hours.

We are faring off much better now. I haven't had time to check out the general recently so I was surprised that I was 3 threads behind when I checked /rrat/ again. Really glad that Bae has been inclining and winning over fans. Hard work truly pays off

What really warmed my heart is that the new Brrats were aware of the thread culture, as if it came to them naturally.

Alright so I remember quite a bit of the game,
Here are the parts that will scare Bae the MOST throughout the game assuming she keeps up with it.

-Entire beginning segment up till the point, the village attack ends.
-Castle Dimitrescu Dungeon and blood wine cellar. *(along with the stalking of the lady and her daughters throughout the castle)
-House beniviento
-First encounter with wolf monster
-"Look out the window"

I think that's about it. She is still gonna be scared but atleast she won't be frozen still in fear.
I hope
Poor Baeby........

Honestly, I've thought about it but what if Bae is the type to self insert as the characters she plays and her fear is proportional to the fear the characters are feeling in the game?

She has seen Ethan kill pretty creepy shit in RE7 and she knows he has experience with it.

The guy from outlast was a defenseless journalist and she knew that. She heard the guy do heavy breathing and could feel his fear.

Ethan's demeanor throughout the game is more like a "tired of it all" desperate father on a mission rather a scared defenseless pup.

Except for the baby part where even Ethan lost his shit because it was his deepest fears manifesting.

?????

look, there are ... i'm going with 3 ish ways to judge whether the game is good to learn on or not. Playing casually, playing ranked, and playing to specifically learn.

Casually in apex, a noob will drop somewhere, spend 80% of the time running around looking at the ground and judging whether or not they want to pick up an item, or sorting out their backpack, and dying in like 3 seconds when they finally see someone else. There will be like a max of 5 seconds of gunplay in the 20 minutes they spend looting the edges of the map, lost. The other option is to hot drop, spend 5 seconds looking at the bin you land next to and get shot by the 30 other players who land hot and 3 stack pubs all day cause if they did that in ranked they'd struggle to make it out of plat

Casually in cs, you get a gun and run around on dust 2 and try and shoot people, and then spectate better people who will also try and shoot people but won't be aiming at the floor. The map is small so you're (probably) not still getting lost after your first match, and you learn about where the enemies usually are and can try and fight a decent amount of times

ranked in both will be ass to learn in, but that's cause it's ranked. I think even then, cs may be better cause you're more likely to get a mic user who will tell you what to do, rather than just type after you or they die

and the training modes, well, apex has a firing range, which is ok. cs has like 70000 really good training maps, retakes, valve deathmatch, community server deathmatch, 1v1 servers etc.

>>17642462
>ate its lunch
In america, maybe. Cause all the streamer shitters who couldn't make it in cs left. But you can't unironically call valorant a better game to learn to shoot on when it's literally just cs with added ability bullshit that takes away from the aiming, and less of the training options that cs has

Also I am surprised not only by the progress Bae made but also that she played the game REALLY well once she got the hang of it.
Good, consistent headshots, treasure hunting autism and she even kited Dimitrescu.

The labor exhaustion is not equal.
8 hour work days were created for manual labor extensive work during the Industrial Revolution. So measure manual labor with that.
Studies have shown mentally extensive work such as architects and engineering are only able to do 4hr work days and there has already been pushes to reduce certain fields to that much, or create a 3day weekend for those fields.

Lastly you are not taking into account other factors of being a streamer, such as practices, meetings, scheduling, recordings, thumbnail creation etc...

You honestly can't compare apples and oranges. But you know, you keep using the 8hour manual labor as the barometer for everyone not doing manual labor, for whatever reason you so choose, I'm not here to educate you.

This is almost entirely specific to hololive vtubers, no? Like a large amount of streamers just stream for like 8 hours a day, not many on twitch are having meetings or practising or recording, or trying to work out a schedule. They just go live each day and figure it out as they go. Like, I've literally watched an apex player get a contract on stream, just the entire conversation was muted lol

dunno, if it's mentally not exhausting. From my personal experience, you can do it for a while, but afterwards you notice how relieved you are, that it's over now and you don't need to act or be careful about what you do and say anymore. There's a lot information processing necessary during the stream: Game or content, chat, acting in your role, be careful (commercial) pitfalls and so on. Don't underestimate being tied to a chair in front of a computer while constantly being watched. The only hope is, that you get used to it or are natural immune to what I said before. Otherwise it'll always put some mental stress on you.

Although I can see it being somewhat of a pain for those not being able to catch it live if you don't know if the next stream is going to be unarchived/extra special, so you can build your schedule around that stream.

kinda late but you are absolutely retarded if you think apex newbies even spend half of their time looting like goblins. they drop in the hot zone instantly and mog themselves down for 4 minutes until the surviving team wipes the area, not to mention being able to actually aim the weapon you have helps you shoot.
in cs you will peak a corner and die instantly because you got spotted, making you prone to choking, missing, badly spraying your weapon, etc
>in cs, you get a gun and run around on dust 2 and try and shoot people, and then spectate better people who will also try
you admit it yourself, you'll spend more time dead because its a standoff vs firefight argument, if you live more, you get to shoot more and learn how to actually fire said shoots.
>apex has a firing range, which is ok. cs has like 70000 really good training maps, retakes, valve deathmatch, community server deathmatch, 1v1 servers etc
this is not an argument dumbass, CS maps are to train you specifically in the CS enviroment and they are fantastic for that, but what can they offer you that the firing range cant? literally nothing except non-transferible knowledge. Also apex is big in asian countries and europe, CS has its hardcore fanbase but valorant just keeps growing

>but you are absolutely retarded if you think apex newbies even spend half of their time looting like goblins
anon, do your reps?
https://youtu.be/j_NQVD4lJXA?t=1980
here is 10 minutes spent walking around one POI before leaving and getting wiped by the second people they come across. The game is like 15 minutes total. I was pretty close with 80%

>in cs you will peak a corner and die instantly because you got spotted
You overestimate how good the people who play the casual servers are

>making you prone to choking, missing, badly spraying your weapon
How in your mind did you think this was a reasonable point? How do you think people get good at anything? Like, if someone plays chess badly, gets two move mated, now they're just going to fucking tip over the board everytime they sit down to play? No, they try it differently, and if they get closer to success, they try and hone in on what worked

>spend more time dead
no, more time shooting. see bae spending 10 minutes walking around looting. She is involved in a fight with one team in the 15 minutes of that game, and she dies almost as fast as a death in cs. 15 minutes, for 1 fight. that's apex teaching someone how to play an FPS?

>CS maps are to train you specifically in the CS enviroment
I know this is bait anon, but FPS skills transfer from one game to another. That's what this whole talk is about. Which game teaches you how to aim the best, or fastest.
If anything, apex offers you more "non-transferible knowledge" because it's abilities are all specific to apex. Whereas almost all cs knowledge is at least transferible to valorant, lol.

>what can they offer you that the firing range cant
I know you're not being serious, but here's a time trial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCpyAPT6bSY
Doing this would be better than playing apex to learn how to shoot. Reminding you again that bae spent 15 minutes and fought 1 team.

>Also apex is big in asian countries and europe, CS has its hardcore fanbase but valorant just keeps growing
Irrelevant to what you learn by playing the games, but sure. I think a lot of people would argue apex is bigger in NA than EU, but say EU probably has better teams. LAN when?

pls don't talk about quake when replying to this

You might be thinking of Your Name.
And you've forced my hand to post this
A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
