Just wondering, does Fauna have someone dedicated in timestamping her vids? I often go to the vods to catch up on things I missed and I found those timestamps really useful on other channels. I know Mumei, Kronii?, and Bae have one, but I don't know if any of our saplings is doing it.

In the greater scheme of I'll be listening/watching the full vod anyways, but I found the timestamps to be nice as something to reference back to. Or just to quickly gauge how much progress is made and if I can maybe skip some parts if I'm in a rush.

Bae or IRyS I do not think would make good translators. Yeah they are both fluent in English and Japanese, but that alone doesn't make for a good translator. Trying to rapidly switch back and forth between two different languages while also trying to translate what is being said in two different languages without breaking flow is a real challenge for many. Kiara is actually a very good translator, but having her on an ASMR stream? Probably not a great idea.

I think a lot of people wrote Fauna off as just an ASMR girl when she debuted. Which, fair enough. I'd say though that she is probably one of the better gamers in EN. Which isn't a high bar honestly. Still, she isn't autistically focused on one game or one genre and has been playing a pretty decent spread. What is better is that she seems to genuinely enjoy playing them too. Even when scared or frustrated.

90% of /vt/ is still in that basket. They watched her debut and went "yep, ASMR" and then never watched her again until her outfit reveal. (Outside of some collabs perhaps.)

I think she's legitimately top 3 in terms of vidya skill in EN, depending on genre. (Other candidates are Ame and Ina.) She performed rather poorly in Mario Kart, but she didn't really take it all that seriously. (I mean, watch her collab with Gura and the latter is totally focused on the game, while Fauna's just happy to chat.)
Her biggest strengths compared to the others is not tilting as easily (not that she's immune to it), thinking through things more often (brute-forcing stuff seems very common) and having a positive attitude. (She's also has pretty mouse control and perseverance.)
Her greatest weaknesses are reading chat instead of focusing on the game, and panicking if something unexpected happens. I feel like the former is usually due to a mix of disinterest in the game and wanting to be a good host to her viewers. The latter, she recognizes herself in the moment, but is unable to control it.

And even when she gets tilted, she's still really cute about it. It's practically win-win for the audience.

Fauna released that because she accidentally didn't turn off Patreon billing for one month and didn't want to scam people who were still signed up. This release was meant to go out in December but her trip home (and streaming habits apparently if she released it this late, still) ruined things for her. I mean, look at Getting Over It. While she does read chat, she managed to focus on the game more than usual when she got her PB.
