Her views has gone up as well, but if you look through her videos it's mostly through her shorts which of course helps with general analytics. That's the truth. I was sitting on a Mike stream and he has vocalized how hard it is to grow his YouTube channel which all of his streams are later uploaded to. He gets anywhere from 800~1.8k live viewers, but his YouTube channel hardly grows. It has been around for six years and for four years with a more standardized thumbnail format. Four years ago he'd often get around 1k~2k views on his videos and in the present it is picture related. You can't apply the same things of someone that streams on Twitch then does some uploads on YouTube the same as a YouTube only streamer. It does make me wonder if someone like Lumi is thinking of transferring her audience to YouTube, but I don't know if she has stated if she is sticking on Twitch or not.

I'm unsure if Nene is at the point in which she can reduce the clips. I know it must be a headache to weed out undesirables, taking a hit to your image, and constantly needing to pump something out every day, but she doesn't get a solid 500+ CCV every stream. I can be wrong about this, but to me Nene isn't up that mountain yet and still needs to persevere. At least reconsider lessening the shorts until she goes full time.

I'll continue eyeing shorts and how it affects their channel. Pomu is about to reach a month doing shorts and she has had a *little* increase in sub growth. The super majority of her shorts are clips from streams. I'll see how it pans out for her within a month, and then if Nene pulls back on shorts we will see where that leads in a couple months.

Anon she recently made that move in the opposite direction, and even signed the Twitch partner contract. She referred to it as taking one for the team, as in locking herself into Twitch partnership so she could create a CL stream team that the rest of CL could join without having to lock themselves into a partnership too (so they could keep mainly using YT if they wanted to - without violating any Twitch affiliate content exclusivity agreements I guess, don't remember affiliate terms off the top of my head).

It's been a long while so I don't remember her other thoughts on the move. I also don't follow CL closely enough to know if anyone else has decided to push for Twitch partner as well.

Lumi recently hit partner/affiliate or whatever it is, which, from what I understand, bars her from uploading the vods of her Twitch streams to YouTube for a few days after the stream ends. And I imagine she's just trying to keep the YouTube channel afloat, because it would be a waste to let the channel get deranked by the algorithm for inactivity after all the time she had sunken into it, while also using the highlights to funnel new viewers to her Twitch channel.

The models and gear can be used as a full replacement of Live2D (so, outside actual VR/vrchat). Nia also showed-off Live2D tracking with the vroid models she made. I can't really comment too much on it, since the only Gen 1 talents who I watch are Nene and Isla. But taking a look, the shorts earlier on, like Have Me, were a bit baity, and even during that time, you had the occasional more on the nose ones, like Boing Boing.
