Are Nendoroids good products? I want to buy the Subaru one but it will cost $77 and I want to know if they're any good

Define "Good"
If you like nendoroids they're good.
If not then not.

>> No.17419505

>>17419391
search youtube for reviews then, you dumbdumb

>> No.17419526

If you like chibi forms then they're fine. The hololive nendos are roughly double the price of most other nendos though, so I personally wouldn't consider it worth it unless it's your oshi.

>> No.17419602

They have lots of accessories and facial expressions. Its the best chibi form figures, the alternatives are Funko Pops.

I wanted more personal reviews from trustworthy people, like /vt/

Yeah, everything I've bought from Good Smile is very well made. That is pretty expensive though

I hear nothing but praise about Hololive nendrois. If you like Nendroids that is. One figure collector that I watch crowned Aqua as the best Nendroid last year, but they're all quite hard to get and expensive on the second hand marked. Keep in mind your oshi get's no cut from figures so it doesn't support them directly (only Cover).

Look cute, have some modularity with different faces and accessories. They're pricey, but pretty good quality. They usually can't stand up on their own.

Nendroid is expensive collectibles.
That mean, you'll get your nendroid-quality soulless figure.
Sure it's decent.
But what you're buying is the brand of nendroid.

They are reliable, quality products for what they are.
Some people collect them because they genuinely love the chibi aesthetic, some people collect them because they are a relatively affordable alternative to scale figurine collection.
Being a single company's brand, it also means that they perfectly match each other regardless of what franchise the character is from so they make for fun crossover displays.

That doesn't make sense.
It's merch, the holos are paid much more for those things

Nendroids are an exception and they're not getting a cut from those. Only supports Cover at large.

Damn man. That's a lot of toys. I'm still waiting on my Kirby and Arle Nadja nendos. I'm supposed to get my Bloodborne figma in March and I'll be surprised if it gets here by June

>> No.17423681

>>17423681
>Cover: Hey, we will make a Nendroid of you but can't give you a cut. Sorry.
What you gonna do? Say no and watch your genmate get the extra exposure with a Nendroid? Cover is not selling them in their own shop so they don't have to do shit. It's their IP.

>> No.17424854

>>17423842
Of course, that makes sense but that's not in line with Cover's strategy of being a happy family. I doubt they don't pay them

>> No.17424992

>>17419391
I dunno, I used to own a few but then I realized I never really found them useful. I was too lazy to change poses or anything, and they just took up space. Ended up selling them all on ebay for maybe 2/3 the buying price. The only worthwhile figs imo are gunpla because it's pretty fun to put them together and you feel a sense of accomplishment when you've made them look all nice and shiny.

>> No.17425453

I personally really like them and they're very well made

>> No.17425632

>>17419391
They are nice, cheap-tier figures. I own a few for characters that I like, but don't want to drop $200+ on a scale figure for. They are cheap for figures and, imo, super cute and definitely worth it for the price.

Also, they are not double the cost of non-vtuber figures. They are priced pretty much the same. They are great for the cost if you can appreciate the cute chibi designs.

>> No.17425757

>>17419391
I don’t like them because the changeable parts fall or when you touch them

>> No.17426059

>>17419391
Doesn't take up a ton of space, affordable for wagies, posable, and cute. I think nendoroids are a nice purchase for those who are hesitant about getting (expensive) scale figures. I own 6 nendos but only one is on display since I don't have a display case yet. I really need to invest in one instead of having to dust off my figures every month.

>> No.17426305

>>17419391
The only thing you need to know is that sometimes they can be a pain to put together and pose. Mostly they're fine, but occasionally you get an annoying one. Otherwise, if you like the aesthetic, they're great.
I love nendoroids myself, and hope we get one for all the holos.

>> No.17426650

I got my Lucifer nendo a few weeks back and it was nice. Only issue I had is her wine fell out of her glass and I had to reattach it with a toothpick dab of gorilla glue.

>> No.17427143

>>17419391
They’re great quality for what they are. The chibi style is cute and I don’t want to commit to an actual figure. At least if someone sees these in my house they won’t 100% cringe at the get go. Not a huge collector but I have a couple non-holo ones and I preordered my oshi’s
