I also would like her to try things outside her comfort zone. Its interesting content when something new is happening and seeing you tackle it. But its pointless to do so if she does it with her hate-losing mindset. You set yourself up to have a bad time that way.

She's a bit of a perfectionist in that aspect. Kinda comes with that guild leader mindset I think too, if you're crap at some other game (despite it being because you're new) then you think it reflects badly.

I'm glad she's enjoying Slay the Spire, and I hope it inspires her to try out even more new types of games. I also think her worry about using emotes she makes being used to clown on her are unfounded since people can already do that if they want to in text or with other emotes. Same thing goes for backseating. It sounds like something pretty big got settled near the end there that was blocking other things.

I prefer emails because they feel more official. Some of them have to go through their agency but that's fine.
