Huke was being harassed by Minecraft autists and Kiara was being harassed for letting a m*le on the HoloEN server. Management was ok with him to keep playing as they are the ones that gave him some higher powers in the game to give himself items anyway, but Huke decided to step down, mostly for Kiara's sake

You'll hear two basic conflicting explanations, subject to personal bias:

A: It has nothing to do with him being male, it was because people complained about him cheating at minecraft!
B: It has nothing to do with him cheating at minecraft, it was because people complained about him being male!

The funny thing is, I've never actually seen those ominous "people complaining" anywhere, that are cited by everyone as the reason for him being booted. On youtube, reddit, twitter etc. people were overwhelmingly supportive or at least tolerated of him playing with her, and you'd have to look for negative comments with a magnifying glass to find a handful at all (or explicitly go to anti places like 5ch or 4ch where people just complain for the sake of it, and it's not like Cover bases their decisions on the opinions of those people).

So yeah, the true explanation as for why he stopped may be neither of those, and more mundane and boring, something like new admin policies wrt outsiders accessing Holo servers (I remember also that's why Mamatori visiting the Minecraft server was a time-limited thing, they had to change everyone's password everytime an outsider logged in (as to prevent them having unlimited access forever), and it became too much of a bother to keep doing that... sure, why they don't simply instate disposable guest accounts is anyones guess, but that's apparently too advanced to figure out for a "tech company"), and/or he simply got busy with work again and didn't have much time to hang around minecraft anyway.

If they're going to have someone else build up the server for them using cheats, they may as well get a pre-made.
