Chumbuds used to treat her as Gura's backup act and loudly declare in her chat they were leaving for Gura's stream when it started. You could see her go silent and die a little inside. She used to shift her own streams on short notice to avoid overlap when her genmates was shifted or went overtime "because I want to watch my genmates with you guys" but it was obviously to avoid the pain and humiliation of living under their shadow. She has grown since then but has always kept that chip on her shoulder and I won't blame her if she loathes chumbuds and doesn't want them in her audience ever again.

Anyone familiar with JP knows that these things often go in waves. Take PekoMiko for example. Of course there's always Okakoro and such but it's good that the pairings change occasionally.

I admit at first I was sad, it would be nice for Ame to have a real good friend for more reasons than one. They're still buds, they're just keeping the work life separate now, for whatever reasons. It's a shame, since it was so much fun to see them getting along, but personally I'm fine enough just knowing they still get along behind the scenes.
