Her mechanics are great, but her mentality needs works. She's clearly still affected by her last year's experience, she tries too hard. She recklessly charges ahead too much to make herself useful and drops her heals to her teammates even when they don't need it. Hell, even when she carries her teams hard she acts as if she was the burden. She's also still prone to panic in melee fights.

Maybe she's still top 3 vtubers, I don't follow Nijipex so I wouldn't know, but the road to Master will still be complicated.

Also tournament organizers DO care about soloq, like how Hal assigned points on Master players for his tournament based on how they performed. That's why Astel was assigned 10pt while Matsuri was 8pt. Being able to reach Master in soloq meaning you have the ability to pull 2 unknown variables with you and still perform consistently good.

Selen and Qu are both former preds and still get bottom 8 in every tournament they're invited to. The points system is broken because they put too much weight on Soloq performance, particularly past Soloq performance when it actually doesn't matter at all. Selen was whining about it previously that she hasn't been pred for like 2 or 3 years but they won't reduce her point cost when she's nowhere as good as Astel or Hal.

Every single player above diamond can aim and click heads and Soloq doesn't train you to play as a team or pick good classes. Especially the types who just pick Octane and Wraith every game like Aqua would probably have to relearn the game entirely if they moved to a competitive format. Players may be weighted based on their Soloq rank but HSKW is a way more valuable teammate than Selen or Aqua and performs better in tournaments due to her deference to the IGL, something a SoloQ grinder might struggle with.

And that's why soloq people are most of the time the IGL, and the team needs to move around them. Obviously whether they're suited to IGL role or not is another matter, but if you're putting a soloq who's forced to be able to do all roles above averagely in order to climb ranks with someone who's always getting ordered around and have gotten used to it, then most of the time the latter is easier to fit into a team.

IMO, the general opinion around this topic is pretty biased since most are always referring to CR Cup, where there's always a Pred as the IGL and needing to recruit another 2 members. Because of the point system, Pred most of the time can't make an actual team with another Pred/Master player since that means whoever the last slot is will be a sandbag to get pulled around. So naturally the most efficient way to win is to find 2 Plat or Diamond players that WILL blindly trust whatever the Pred is ordering. The last thing they want is a member who starts to have an idea on how to play the match, which most soloq Masters are, and 2 chefs in a kitchen won't work.
