Hololive is, at the end of the day, a business. You can get along with a coworker, but if working together with them is a direct risk to your own revenue and paycheck, then you simply don't take the risk.

A big misconception is that these girls are friends by default. They CAN be, but they have no real reason to get along outside of a work setting. Very few of these girls would put their own money stream at risk to help out another girl who YAB'd and brought trouble from the very, very easily offended audience they all share. Only someone with real grit like Fubuki would do something like that, and she is by far the exception.
I'm glad Towa dug herself out of the deadly "talked to a male" hole, but you can't blame other girls, especially her own genmates who were also just starting off, to put themselves at risk for her sake and her mistake.

The manner in which she did it, just off-hand mentioning in a tweet that she ate lunch with Coco just seems like her throwing herself into the line fire
If they wanted signal the fandom they could've just made an official statement and the descion to fire Coco or not would've ultimately been managerial so I doubt Fubuki would have any say in that matter

After she came back and chat had blown up about hearing a male voice, Towa said that the voice they heard was her manager despite the fact that she was streaming from her house at like 10 or 11 pm. Chat didn't buy it, of course, and Cover refused to go along with her obvious lie.
