I was never really a Haaton, but I used to watch Haachama a lot up until sometime mid 2021. Then she started taking the crazy shtick too far, and I just kept losing interest in her by the day. That process is still ongoing, actually, but now it's so bad that it's consumed all of her character. I imagine it's the same for a lot of people. Her rap reply to that anti was pretty cool though.

I won't say that's something completely unrelated because it obviously had an impact in all aspects of her life, including her ideas for streaming, but her content was already going full speed in this direction before the taiwan shit happened. Her struggling with the guilt and having a hard time adapting to life back in Japan+college actually made me want to watch her more, since I personally like her and want to support her, but I still can't bring myself to become interested in the character she made out of herself.

I think that not playing games, especially popular ones, also greatly affects her channel.

I think a good point is that since she barely play games, doesn't do ASMR now (unfortunately her mic broke when she was trying to do one again), the cooking show is out of ideas, can't do the schizo arc again... she doesn't have a lot to work with.
Many times I check on her also she's just doing a karaoke under some cryptic stream title which is a bit tiring, I don't need 2-3 karaokes per week, specially of the same songs.

I am convinced her turning off superchats is directly tied to this too. Of course she wouldn't openly admit that she only did it to show Susan the middlefinger, but that's the only somewhat logical explanation. This decision was made in consultation with management for sure. It's a long shot, but she does have a lot of subs and actual viewers that Youtube can't make money from properly right now so it might open up a conversation eventually. And yes, YT could review her channel, decide to purge half her content and ban her from monetization completely, but at least they would give a reason instead of messing around in the shadows and refuse to talk about it I guess.

I would have agreed from Summer to mid/late Fall, but she's been quite active recently; more so than a decent portion of other Holos. She just continues to be fickle about actual scheduling or collabs, opting instead for guerilla streams and laying into karaoke, which are the things she just clearly enjoys and are her comfort zone.
