That's just what happens in communities like that, they end up caring less and less the subject they came to the community for over the time, but care more about the other people instead. I took a look at a Japanese Sukonbu Discord out of curiosity and while slightly better, the same thing still mostly applies. It wasn't any different on most of the IRC-channels I frequented 10-15 years ago, either. Always ends up being gossip and drama for the most part. As bad as this website can get at times, it's probably still the best place for nice topics like this.

Yeah, she seems to have a lot of fun, but mostly with the people she already hangs out a lot with anyway. I was always convinced that she didn't play Minecraft much BECAUSE she's not that fond of random interactions with people she doesn't talk to that much. This fits with Subaru claiming she's always very quiet in larger group gatherings with other Holomen IRL too in their recent collab. Doesn't mean she hates them or anything, just that she's better with people she knows very well. I can relate for sure. Anyway, I guess that's less of an issue in ARK because everyone's base is at a different place and there's generally less hanging out and more action and stuff. Glad she's able to enjoy herself.

in a fight, when they are mounted and try to manouvre their dinos 180/ to face the opponent it's almost impossible but an unmounted dino can magically do it with ease..

The cap is level 100. She should have leveled him up as much as she can, because frankly, even with all the doping I think it's going to be rough. It kinda takes forever though, which is why she probably didn't want to do it. Kazama is only level 71 and the strongest opponent she is going to face is level 66. She had a 10-20 level advantage over almost every Gym fight during the whole game and was struggling with some of these too, this is going to be a shitshow.

So she's going to have to waste PP for another 20 minutes or so, then we start the Elite 4 after basically 2 hours already. She's probably going to have at make least as many tries for each of the first four as she did with the rival, they all have Ghost/Rock/Steel types which are resistant to Kazama's normal attacks, just like the Penguin was. Then comes the champion, which has much better Pokemon than the other ones, too. I'm guessing this will take at least 6 more hours. Unless she gets very lucky. Could also be twice that, if she gets unlucky. Who knows.

Pokemon just sends you back to the last Pokemon center if you lose a fight, she's in no danger of a softlock or anything. Not saving would have been insane because expecting to win all five fights without losing even once is straight up lunacy.

RIP that was fucking unlucky, that seemed like the run to me.. I guess that's what happens when you stall and whittle down the opponent, they're bound to crit you in the worst moment eventually.

Just skimmed the beginning and end because it's pretty boring and her face looks super off. I used to love Metal Slug 1, 2 and 3 when I was younger. Never got all that far but it was a fun series for sure. I'm apprehensive about this stream because I'm afraid it might be one of these mobile cash-in sequels that shits on a great franchise's grave and retrospectively taints its legacy. That's probably true. Okayu's member ASMR is hefty GFE. She's good, but due to the fact, that I'm convinced, she is just acting, I can forget about "being in a relationship" and just enjoy the sounds.
Fubuki was always good in keeping distance so the after outro kiss is usually the highest treat you can get.
So it' probably the way how you enjoy ASMR and what like to listen to and what you find disgusting. Usually people react badly on eating or mouth noises. From what I can tell, shes more focusing on the biting noise and doesn't try to smack extra loudly and instead records the chewing noise.
If you like high frequencies, the crisp snacks she eats tingle your eardrums well.
People usually rave about Noel's ASMR, but after a few episodes I got bored. The same goes for Roboco who has done many ASMR streams. (Disclaimer: I haven't listened to the more recent ones)
Fubuki's ASMR just works best for me.

That's fair enough. My problem with Fubuki's ASMR isn't the type of triggers, it's the audio balance and the fact that volume wavers all over the place. In particular, she is sometimes unaware that the volume of her laughter grows too loud. Her membership ASMRs, for example, are basically just zatsudans.

She's done some great stuff too though. I've listened to the August and September ASMRs hundreds of times in the background because they both contain lengthy amounts of time in a controlled volume range with a variety of triggers.
It's so easy to break you out of that trance-like state with a sudden sharp rise in pitch.

I haven't listened to Okayu's membership ASMR, but her public stuff is great. I really enjoy her ear cleaning stuff.
Korone's membership ASMR is great and super GFE-heavy, but imho it's a little too close to the coomer-side of things with her ear eating.

Noel's been doing this for years so it's probably just formulaic for her. I share the opinion that her ASMR isn't great.

If Korone is already too much for you, don't try Okayu's membership ASMR. Korone often laughts about herself which makes it fun to listen to and less relaxing. Okayu is serious and /mogu/ went crazy about the December and January streams because of the heavy GFE. In terms of sounds, Okayu is 10x stronger than Korone overall.

I tried her ASMR and it's pretty good. There's a good potential if she goes for more than just ear rubbing and ear cleaning. I really enjoyed her working with Noel's KU100... up to the point, when Noel came back. Knowing, that she was Noel's guest and that she's pretty new in Hololive gave extra tension about how blunt she became using the mic and playing with the stereo effect.

It's probably supported by imagination of the situation. Sitting in a comfy position and having Fubuki biting your ear is a so damn strong trigger. It gets me every time.

I can see your point, she's not the greatest at it, but because she does it so rarely and barely ever shows as much closeness to the Sukonbu as she does in these streams it still feels special. Her volumes might be all over the place sometimes, but there have been really really good ones. Maybe she will try to expand her repertoire a bit as well now that she has made this rather sizable investment, who knows. She played around with slime once last year and then never used it again. The point is, as long as it's FBK I don't mind if it's technically mediocre. I don't think she would have bought this expensive thing if she didn't want to improve at this, though.
