There are difference to how each of them handle securities and permissions.

WIn 7 has lax segregation of permissions between the core OS and the user session. Win 10 separates the core of the OS from the user similar to how Virtual Machine software does it. And finally Win 11 adds further separation by doing it at the hardware level.

Ame is just stupid because no one should ever upgrade to a new OS version in the first year of the release if you are using a machine for critical work functions. Always give time for driver support and software support to catch up.
