Also a friend of mine said she and gura should cover summer idol and after listening to it a few times and hearing how their voices sounded when gura sang bad day as a duet with her think it'd be pretty good light hearted summer song. they can even throw some umisea cameos in the video if they replicate it but it is kinda a joke song so she might opt for something a bit more serious for a duet

I think Calli has a much more extroverted type of personality, and she generally talks rather emotionally (also curses quite a bit), which is in constrast to Inas much more composed way of speech and her more introverted personality.
I think in general that collabs that feature an "opposites" pairing work really well.

You're a spectator. Any emotional attachment to Ina is entirely the result of a parasocial relationship and even considering this sort of question will undercut your enjoyment of the medium

On principle, I think most talents in entertainment would at least pretend to feel sad or display compassion if someone went up to them and told them one of their fans died, but it's unreasonable to expect them to actually care about someone whose existence they literally could not have considered a second prior to this interaction. Statistically though probably a lot of takos have already died during the course of Ina's streaming career. If there was some in memoriam thing keeping track of all of them, how many could *you* sympathize with? Wouldn't it kill the mood of a drawing stream or whatever?

The human corpus callosum has comparable bandwidth to a modern smartphone. There may be a cognitive limit to how many people any one person can have meaningful social relationships width at any time, likely around 150 (Dunbar's number).

In conclusion: Ina would not care if you died, not because of anything about you in particular but because such a level of compassion is beyond the ken of humanity. We must build greater minds capable of more sublime levels of love, and only then can your oshi care about (You)

I can't pretend to speak for Ina, so I cannot tell you how much a parasocial attachment she has to us as her "fanbase".
What >>16516579 and >>16517154 get wrong is that parasocial relationships do not work as normal social relationships, in that they can be very one-sided, and also are able to exist without a direct line of interaction. That is not to say that parasocial relationships are lesser than "regular" ones, but they are certianly different.

For the sake of example, I will propose an extreme example of a hypothetical Vtuber M (Memhera) who has a strong parasocial attachment to her fanbase, and even goes as far as to egosearch her Gachikois. If this Vtuber was to find a Gachikoi she has an attachment too died, she will probably feel some amount of sadness over the loss of the parasocial relationship.
There is currently one one or two Hololive members who I would suspect to be that level of menhera, based on the infos I have, and Ina is not one of them Its festival and Russia

Ina certianly has a level of parasocial attachment, but where it exactly is between the extremes or "dont care" and "M" is anyones guess, and see my first sentence, I cannot speak for Ina.
