Reposting this because I posted it while on page 11
I actually have another note about Rushia, and want to hear what you guys think it implies. Rushia streams on Twitcast fairly often. These are always guerilla, always late(as in, AM), often on weekdays, and of course are on a roommate which is nowhere near Kson or Matsuri in terms of accessibility. No visuals, just a static image, always just talking. Usually around half an hour to an hourish.

Her CCV average is around just under ~1.5k for them. You can only see it during the Twitcasts, but I'm there so I know first-hand. Isn't she getting Kson numbers with a shadow of the publicity?

The views listed are total unique viewers who tuned in during the stream, and only those viewers. Normally, she's around 3500-6000 total unique viewers.
Just today, for no reason I can think of, she had one that hit 15k. She has never come even remotely close to that number before. I believe I saw the CCV peak somewhere in the mid 2000s and the average was definitely just about an even 2k.

I feel like that's a notable number, but I'm not sure why, so maybe you can figure it out

Numberfagging VOD views for streams is dumb for a number of reasons.

1. Processing time. It takes up to 24 hours to process viewers for a stream and for the views to accurately show, meaning if you're going to numberfag VODs then you're always going to be talking about yesterdays streams, not todays.

2. 80-90% of a streams VOD videos come from the live viewers anyway. CCV lines up almost perfectly with VOD views with a few exceptions like special streams. So VOD views end up being a derivative of CCV most of the time anyway. A stream might tack on an extra 10-20% more views over the 2 weeks after the stream but that's about it.

3. Hololive are live streamers and they optimize their content to bring in live viewers, NOT VOD views after the fact so you're grading them on a metric they're not even trying to maximize. The idea that someone like Kiara wants people watching her VODs after she streams when she's churning out 6 hour VODs that not a single soul will watch in their entirety after the stream is ludicrous.

4. It's platform specific. Despite the autism about "vtuber" specifically meaning Youtube based livestreamers, a significant number of vtubers use Twitch as a platform.
