Honestly this was probably the hardest part of the story to decide on. I considered making them normal streamers but that would be a little unrealistic for multiple reasons. I also couldn't go into roommate territory, which lead me to settle for the compromise you see.

I'm also glad you guys liked the /vt/ thread at the end. That's going to be something every chapter has because rrats were a part of the original prompt, but also because it's actually going to be somewhat relevant to the story.

This is really good. I can kind of see what you were seeing earlier about having trouble with the sex scene. Honestly love the flashback words while dicking down matsuri part; even if the actual smut isn't the best.

I thought about it, but I felt that going that far into it would take away from what the fic was mainly supposed to be. I just wanted to add the twist as a little spice to the finale, cause before I decided on that I was gonna have it be ambiguous as to whether or not (You) were actually getting cucked or not.

If the point of the smut was just to be brief for the sake of the plot (eg not writing a smut-centric fic) then it's overall fine but maybe could be longer.

No, I was just wondering for the sake of any smut I may write in the future. But yeah this fic I guess was more plot focused than smut, even though the sex is kind of the crux of it.

I think finding the good balance for that is my biggest place to improve. My purely smut fic was well received as were my more dramatic ones, but I've always felt unsatisfied with the smut when I've tried to do both.

I really enjoyed reading this, and the smut did manage to get a rise out of me. But more importantly, I felt the sting of the pain of it, especially at the end. Not to detract, but I really enjoy when the pain festers and simmers under the surface, but that is usually achieved in series stuff, rather than the gut punch of a one-shot. Still, I must thank you as this has inspired me to write another story of the realities of love.

It's partly to do with the length and partly to do with its place in the greater story.
Because independently it's way too short; as part of the greater story it works as intended since it contrasts the fubuki confession and rejection but it's just not enough to be the kind of sex scene you jack it to.
Of course; that's not necessarily bad. Structurally it's about at the length where the 'flashback voices' thing work. A longer smut part would probably have required structuring the story around it rather than matsuri's manipulation.
Though I will say, the smut part is from what I can tell absolutely necessary. It does actually establish that Matsuri has 'won' and establish that Fubuki has lost (you), which is part of what makes the next scene so good.

Underutilized front. There's a few stories which have allusions to being good buddies with the Stars but we very rarely get to see it elaborated on.

Didn't get to give my thoughts last thread cause it died too early so I'm gonna give it here.
This is pretty good for a first chapter, consider me hooked but I can't really say more since we still don't know what the overarching plot is.
The future conflicts with the stars is going to be interesting and I'm curious to see how you're gonna handle his double life as a streamer and paid assassin with his relationships with his coworkers, that's probably what I'm most looking forward to see.
His struggle with streaming is also gonna be interesting, I hope you can manage to straddle the line between cringe and comedy when writing future scenes of this.
The /vt/ style threads at the bottom were also fucking incredible and totally in style with how people would react to a sudden debut (He's going to fuck You(r) oshi and the reaction to the name were hilarious)

I really enjoyed this, the smut felt weak but at the same time it felt right, like any more would've detracted from the story if that makes any sense. What the others said is pretty much what I thought as well, this fic is definitely a character story first and a smut story second with how it was going but the smut was still necessary for the story to really drive the point home.
Overall, pretty great story. The ending was fantastic in that it was told from Fubuki's POV and I love how you can feel the heartache and regret coming from her. God I wish we could see what happens next when Fubuki realizes what Matsuri did and the rumors she spread about her.

I find I get more feedback here than the Kronii threads, but I am getting some from both nowadays. I pretty much only write futa, though I’ve been trying to get more fluff done lately.

One feedback question I have is how do people write better climaxes? I find it’s one of my weaker points, that and dialogue for Anon (since I usually do 2nd person/POV fics) which I usually keep to a minimum. I’m slowly getting better with chuuba dialogue but I am honestly clueless on how to get semi believable anon dialogue for both fluff and smut

if you mean climaxes as nutting then i find the better you describe the character's reactions to it happening, like you could totally imagine the vtuber in question going through what you are describing in total detail. If you mean the climax of the story, you need to find a good conclusion to whatever you have been building up, if it's a funny history then you set up a punchline, if it's a sad tragedy you make sure the characters relationships are believable enough for the sad aspect to hit harder.

As for anon dialogue, keep the dialogue to be very neutral, the easier is it to self insert the better. An easier way to do it is to have the chubba carry most of the dialogue while (you) is just reacting

When it comes to premises, watching collabs can help with inspiration. It gives you a foundation for their banter and how they play off each other.

For example, I wrote the futa Mori x Bae fic after watching their Room Review and taking their interactions to a ridiculous extreme. The only things that actually happened in that stream were Bae getting a bit too drunk and Mori jokingly trying to wrangle her in. But by exaggerating those emotions further, Bae becomes obnoxiously drunk and antagonistic while Mori becomes legitimately pissed off and aggressive. The rrat's chaotic pranking nature goes too far and breaks an overworked Mori, throw in some sweaty futa sex, and there's your premise

A few seconds later, someone opens it. A tall girl with long pink hair, a leather jacket and a backwards cap meets your eye. "H-hi I'm here for-", " Don't mind it dude, come in. You're X, right?" She interrupts you, nudging you in the arm with a smile, assuming you're actually your friend. You couldn't bring yourself to say no. "You got here just in time for the exchange, let's go.".

Exchange? Your friend told you no such thing about an exchange, just what was about to happen? You walk into a room full of girls sitting down in front of a long table, chatting, and a yellow skin middle aged man sat at the tip of the table as well, currently opposite to you, for some reason. They all stop talking for a moment and turn their eyes to you. Like a deer in the headlights, before you could even say a "hi" they all turn around and start talking again.

"Sit wherever, my man." The tall woman tells you, and goes to sit down herself.

Closer to the man on the right side of the table, there was a girl with purple hair wearing a white jacket, then one with red hair dressed as a pirate touching shoulders with a girl dressed like a rabbit, sporting blue hair who laughed in a weird manner, and one with weird skin and large red hair, with a sword going through. The last one spoke really loud. On the left side of the table, there was 2 girls you recognized, Reine, your uni's biggest rich kid, and Risu, your crush, from the same class as yours. You only ever spoke once and it was completely meaningless stuff, so needless to say, she probably doesn't recognize you. Finally, there's the tall pink haired tomboyish woman. She sat there in silence, taking sips of wine and listening with a smile.

You decide to sit down next to the sword hair girl, and just listen in for a while. The sword girl, which you now know as Ollie from them talking, proclaims that "now that everyone is here, the gift exchange can finally start!". The girls all cheer and down their drinks, before turning to their sides seemingly to grab something out of bags. First, Reine slams a present on the table, yelling "Bam!", then she goes on to do it two more times, putting two more presents on the table with loud thumping motions. The yellow skinned man you now know as Homer says "Doh!" with each subsequent present she pulls out. They were all saying something about her having 75 points, but you didn't know what that meant.

They all went on to pull out their presents one by one, the presents themselves seemed to be wacky in nature, intentionally of course, not particularly expensive, but fun. One of them pulled out a whistle in the shape of a cock, your crush, Risu, pulled out a squirrel that dispenses acorns out of his nut sack, and so on. No one seemed to notice that you didn't bring in any gifts; no one seemed to notice your presence at all, in fact. You were thoroughly confused as to the nature of this party, so you stayed quiet during the entire exchange, taking shots of vodka to hope that you would loosen up. All but one man. Homer, he gets up from the table and walks up to you, showing a plushie of some weird mix between a cat and a bear in front of you, and putting his hand on your shoulder. "This one is for you, bud." he says in a softer voice and a gentle smile, you muster up a "thanks" before he walked back to his spot. Everyone's attention is on you now. Before things got awkward, you said "Shit, I forgot my gifts at home, I'll be right back!" and as you walked away backwards you finger banged with both hands and said "Don't miss me too much!", walking out and closing the door. No one laughed, or said anything for that matter. You could hear them talking to themselves like normal from outside the house, in the cold. You got on your car and drove like a mad man to the nearest gift shop you could find.

When you enter the shop, you notice that the place is much bigger on the inside, much, MUCH bigger. It almost seemed infinite. While you browsed around the section you were in, which was entirely about liquids, a strange little round man with pale skin and balding hair approaches you, rubbing his hands together. "Are you perhaps lost? Is there anything I can help you with, sir?" he asked in a formal, though nosally voice.

Alright, after reading all three chapters here's my take. In the beginning there is A LOT of fucking exposition despite the fact that I know nothing and have just been thrown into all this.
