I really disagree! I like Reloaded just a touch more than the first one and I don't even dislike Revolutions even though it is the campiest one. I liked Animatrix a lot too and I even enjoyed Resurrections. I eat Gnostic shit and cyberpunk up with a spoon

I'll die on the hill of defending Matrix 4. I genuinely enjoyed it. It just so happened to line up with most of my speculations as to what they could even do with a fourth movie and it had stuff from the Animatrix in there, too. I totally get why it was so polarizing, though. They squandered a lot of goodwill with the "trans allegory" shit I think. People went in to that movie ready to shit on it.

I don't watch numbers. Numbers aren't a part of their content. They're just a metric for gauging relative success and profit, which sponsors presumably also use when deciding who they'd like to shill their games.

Being excited about numbers is like being excited about thermometers. I don't care how many degrees it is, only whether I'm comfortable. Core listeners just don't care about vtubers using numbers as a pissing contest. That's their hangup, not ours. And no matter how big their numbers are we gain nothing from them. In fact, the bigger those numbers are, the less each individual listener matters. For listeners (saviourfags aside), our interests are completely opposed to the vtuber's.

matrix 1 was really good, I like matrix 2 alot despite being a mess because it has my favorite action scenes out of all of them. matrix 3 sucks major ass but the final battle is kino.

Matrix 2 and 3 are worth watching just for Agent Smith chewing the scenery. Matrix 4 sucked dick because they replaced him with this charisma-less pretty boy who looks like a walking stock image

Two is great until the fucking architect shows up, it still has the best group fight scene in the chateau that's still unmatched to this day, plus the highway scene and the agent Smith mob scene which might have aged poorly but its still pretty great

I missed Hugo Weaving the whole time I watched 4 but I didn't really hate nu-Smith. The recast felt pretty in line with what the movie set out to be, in my opinion.
