Setting up merch supply chain at large scale isn't that easy. She was doing it on relatively smaller scale compared to Cover's merch, and she was still ripped off just now. It will probably take her a bit more time to setup a supply chain, much less ones on level of corporations' (i.e: Holo / Niji). She will now have to pay out of her own pockets for her original songs, new models / outfits, 3D concerts and all that - although I guess you can argue that she doesn't need all that, but that'd mean she wouldn't get her shares of those either. She also have to pay her own manager as well, too.
All in all, I wouldn't say that she is in any trouble financially. She is pretty well off, in fact. However, I'll be very surprised if her yearly income didn't drop

Are these holofans forgiving Towa, or are these new viewers that are ignoring other holos like Kanata and Watame? If so, why?

Last time I saw this in my recommendations, it was below 1M views.
On a channel with 5K subs, this is gaining about 70-80K views/week from recommendation since 10/2021.

But you can assume she would get a full 50% of the sponsored streams, third party merchandise and partnership proceeds plus a bigger cut than of the merchandise she herself produces (because she fronts the cost and the risk).
