That's kindof the problem with Apex though that skill can only take you so far since the entire game is pretty much team focused. It's not like 6 siege or hell even Titan fall where at least in those games even when you're being pinned down you have a better chance of coming out of it cause the same ones shooting at you might get their position screwed by others in a sort of free for all. Whenever you're solo in Apex its a coinflip to if you'll be able to kill someone whose shit at one on one or get completely gangbanged. I do think there was a mixture of both outside factors and her content. The chuuba fad has died down a bit in the west and is likely no longer on the exponential trajectory it was on during the pandemic in 2020. I'm not a SEAnigger so I'm not familiar with the trends or interest in chuubas in their community. But from my general observations it seems like even the most well established SEA chuubas struggle to keep themselves relevant, let alone grow. Now whether that's just how the SEA market is or if there has been a similar decline in interest like the west, I have no idea. The popularity of hololive in the west has stabilized and they've now established themselves in their own niche in the west. Because streaming has been a popular activity for the past decade or so, chuubas were able to easily integrate themselves into the scene. Granted, hololive is more popular than western chuubas for a variety of reasons I won't think about right now. I'm not familiar enough with SEA to say whether they have an established culture of streaming or not.

As for content, I think the major issue was playing games that weren't well suited to her strengths. That's already been discussed in prior threads so I won't elaborate, but even chuubas with a huge number of subs will struggle if they continuously play games that their audience doesn't want to watch. As an example, Ame will only get 4-5k viewers max if she's playing Oblivion but can easily reach 10k when playing Apex. Kiara struggles to break 2-3k when playing her shitty JRPG's, but can afford to do so because she knows how to farm for supachats.

Expand her audience and think of ways to solidify a niche for herself. Clearly JP and the west are the most profitable markets. I'm not a nip either so I can't say exactly how badly her image was damaged for JOP's, but I don't see the harm in trying to reach out to them again. Which is probably one of the reasons why she was experimenting with different types of games.

I agree that more collabs is the main thing she has to work on. Experimenting some more with stream times could also help. Recent Apex streams started at a better time for NA, but EU is just eternally cucked (not sure if it's worth pandering to EU though).
Aside from that she could do a better job at scheduling streams in advance (not 3-4h before the stream starts), maybe even try a weekly schedule. She also never posts her streams on Twitter unlike a lot of the holos for example.
I think the Apex arc is a good idea for networking and getting some more JOP fans, hope it works out for her.

I doubt that's the case for the average casual vtuber fan. Not everyone is a 5ch dweller, though I could see that even the casuals probably heard about the drama and are apprehensive of her. But "hate her guts" seems like an overexaggeration.
As for collabs, hopefully it's just a matter of time before more vtubers open up to it. I agree that having a collab with Nana would be a nice first step as far as jp vtubers go and might encourage others if it goes well. The Apex focused vtubers are an option, but most of them are part of a company and I don't know if the companies would be okay with it even if the vtuber in question was.
We don't know really know if she tried to reach out a lot and got rejected or if she's too scared/timid to even ask. Either way it's a pretty sad situation and I really hope it gets better for her.

I believe her passpartout and 2nd visage stream had around 2-3k viewers. Her apex and cooking streams were closer to 3-4k. Overall her doom and Apex streams also have more views which means that subscribers are interested and are watching the archives. It’s not a lot of data we have to work with right now, but I think even slight differences are important to consider when you haven’t exactly established your niche yet.

I do agree that a weekly schedule could be helpful, but that’s entirely up to her. Right now it doesn’t sound like she doesn’t plan much for her streams and there may be reasons why she doesn’t choose to put up schedules (i.e. her irl schedule is too variable, she doesn’t want the pressure of having a schedule and would rather freestyle, etc.).

Pic is max instead of average (I don't know where to check average for non holos), but they are not that far off (Eternal was at 3.9k).
Of course some games will get better/worse numbers than others, but it doesn't seem to be a matter of the games but rather her numbers going down overall (compared to pre hiatus and shortly post hiatus). I also think if the difference compared to her stronger games is that low it's fine to stream them from time to time for variety's sake and to attract fans of those genres.
Another weird thing that was pointed out in an earlier thread is the fairly big difference in numbers between her Doom 2016 and Eternal streams which were only a few days apart.

I wanna say that even becore during the time she was at the height of her popularity her average was still in the 3k-5ks, only very rare occasions that it even reached 6k. That was during her play of Getting Over It and lots of people coming in near the end than during the stream with her concurrent number keeping at around 4k. Her Apex number wasn’t that different than it is right now, most of it being the ones with lower views since she doesn’t interact with her chat as much compared to say her duolinguo and Karaoke which makes sense, as when she got lower number during superchat since most people don’t tend to watch that. If you want to compare something to her previous streams, then Superchat and membership count should be the biggest signs as to an extent her subscription count.
Her previous streams she was getting about at least 1-3k supercha on average, although when she’s playing games it tend to dip, but much of her income came from her interaction streams like Duo and even her reading but now even those are on the same level as her usual games. She’s still hitting at least 1k per video but its not doubt that her month hiatus and yabe affected her greatly since she definitely lost some paypigs. Her problem isn’t so much that she’s reclining in views but instead she’s having a hard time catching whales, a much more complicated situation. There isn’t really any solutions that I can think of from the top of my head that this can be fixed easily.

It was definitely closer to 1k, the ones that got around 3k were exceptions (like that meme red sc war or special occasion streams). She has also been getting quite a few sc in her recent member streams. That’s not a bad idea if she’s trying to squeeze the best amount out, but it might still not be enough cause she still need to try and catch more paypigs. I think what she really to do is just as what she did before and set a small semi-daily more chat interactive stream. Those tend to help the most for getting in new people, keeping the same and even pleasing the old since compared to playing a game where everyone just watch it lets the people feel as if they’re doing something and getting attention like most simps tend to hope for. Even during Superchats most don’t randomly throw at her instead they wait for moments, as it is in all other streams.
I think a good model to look at is Yukoku Roberu, aka winning Son’s streaming format. While he gameplay he don’t get much, his daily hour stream of him just talking is what makes him so popular and well liked by his viewers.

Uto already done it before. If she can maybe set like an hour or two of stream where she might Duolinguo, draw/teach Japanese and just have fun with her chat she should be fine. Then she can spend the rest of the other time playing games to get extra for those that want to she her play. That’s one suggestion I can think of, at least the top of my head.

In terms of an “Indie” focusing on the EOP market, she’s definitely a success. Even before I thought it was pretty smart of her, or at least if it was from her company, that she picked a good timeslot and stuck with it for a good amount of time. That’s the problem with alot of indies is that they don’t know how to keep their audience coming back. Many just stream willing nilling, sometime at retarded time and without announcement so even if people want to watch they don’t know when since most also don’t schedule. Uto has definitely conditioned her viewers to a point where they even unconsciously go to her during a specific time as I’ve seen before. Hell, there was a bunch of people I see saying they kept checking her channel out of habit when she was on hiatus.
