There are retards in Twitch chat and there are retards in YT chat. If they were to (at least partially) migrate to Twitch, for at least a few weeks the chat would simply be predominantly retarded, just as it always was during the biggest "influx of normalfags" events on YT. But after a while, the chat pretty much just returns to 'normal' and the number of retards and retarded spammers in there substantially dwindles and things become.. mostly fine.
A migration to Twitch would essentially be comparable to jet-lag after travelling to a neighboring country. Things would be fucked for you for a while, but you'll relatively quickly get used to them, and the culture is ever so slightly different, but since most of the previous audience would (most likely) come along with you, it wouldn't even be that much different in a couple of weeks/months.

NTA, I'm fairly certain the only way to stop the ads being spammed intermittently every 10 minutes is by manually playing 8 midroll ads at once to get through all of them in one burst. Twitch essentially forces all streamers to play ads no matter what (even charity streams), its just when, not the amount. Miko doesn't understand how to force an insane amount of ads to play at one time, so it instead spams periodically throughout the stream. VODs also have ads play every 10 minutes.
Ads are the only legitimate complaint about twitch, because you have to manually add scripts to ublock or install other add-ons to try get rid of them. The pure inconvience is what helped push me a few years ago to stop watching twitch and only watch vtubers as youtube with ublock was just more convient than bothering to look up the fix. And twitch on mobile fucking sucks but I could have on my phone firefox with a desktop useragent + ublock add-on to watch vtubers in bed with no ads exactly like it was desktop.

The thing with twitch is that I don't feel the need to use dedicated streaming platform, I think audience for streaming in general tends to be cancer but I'm also just not used to their UI and shit if holos streamed on twitch I would probably watch less streams because it takes more effort from me to go there and see what's going on while avoiding all this shit I have no interest in while I use yt on a daily basis anyway. Also it's hard to avoid faggots interferring with your stream asking for collabs or sending raids, trolling and shit things neither we nor the talents are used to at this point.

Yeah Twitch's UI is pretty bad. The front page obviously has major bloat because it tries to forcefeed you streams that are set to play by default, but their search sucks HARD. I don't think users are even intended to use the search bar, the Browse page is much more efficient for looking up specific types of content because the filtering function was put there instead of in the search function. Also, I swear I can't find anything to click that would take me to a channel's past broadcasts, I've resorted to typing "/videos" in the channel url instead.
