When it happens, it will kind of sneak up on you, but you'll just know. Some moment on some random stream will just make it click. It didn't necessarily happen then, perhaps it was awhile ago and you never noticed until now. Just watch a good variety of streams and your oshi will find you naturally. No need to force it.

This is how it happened for me 100% with 1 of my Oshi ( I have 2: 1 en 1 jp) I just membered to the en one (first time I ever did anything like that, only ever watched and subbed to dudes) and I heard her sing and I just knew I would follow her no matter what even though her model is definitely something I've never been into( still isn't). My JP Oshi actually was the reason I started watching vtubers and she's always been a favorite but the more I watched the more I love the Pon and she officially became my 2nd Oshi even though I am EOP but because of her I've started nihongo reps even though it's pointless because Mikochi.....
