Yeah it seems obvious that the 10K is for whales, especially since it seems to be a fanbox default. The only reason she shifted from 500 to 1000 was because of the antis, although that small of a price difference probably isn't enough to dissuade them. I kind of wish she had tried 1500 to run them out quicker.

It should be easier to deal with what antis are left in the fanbox though. Delta had talked about how easy it was to take care of them.

I think so too, and I'd like to think that the fan support helped with that somewhat. I don't think it's a stretch to say she made the fanbox when things were at their worst.

When Polka was doing a lot of ASMR's that were very co-dependent, a lot of people got very vocal about expressing concern. Saying that it was unhealthy or even dangerous for her to be hooked like that. But the way that I saw it was that Polka, for whatever reason, needed to do that at that time. For all we knew, she was going through some personal stuff, having a hard time with it, and needed the support. If that was how she chose to go about it, then so be it. If it worked then who cares? It's not as if, just because she's doing it a lot at that moment, that she would need to do it forever. And lo and behold, she hasn't done ASMR like that in a while (or at least that I can tell).

Another factor is in how they approach streaming in general. This means Suichan generally takes streaming as a break of some sort, streaming just for around an hour whenever she wanted a breather. Aqua probably takes streaming more as a job, where she dedicate an entire day purely for streaming and nothing else, leading to more hours with less frequency since she needs to free up an entire day first in her schedule.

There's one big difference between Pekora and those 3 (Aqua, Suichan, Watame) and that is she doesn't engage in anything musical except that Gen 3 live, nor did she get a lot of sponsorships involving stuff that is not streaming. Aqua and Suichan probably has nearly the same amount of concerts, sponsorships, interviews, and songs released in year 2021. Her drifting line is still one of the best among all holos but to maintain number one in whole match you basically need to play perfectly whole match and need a bit of luck in items to avoid blue shell, the first few laps where she bumped into a wall or plant and lose her momentum and just get raped by others behind. The time when she slow down to take the blue shell is stupid, she is trying avoid it by going number two but this allow others to catch up and rape her with items.

Did you watch Group A? Okayu finished the top in her group all while finishing 4th-4th-3rd-1st-4th-3rd in her group. Half of the time she finished lower than top 3. I've already stated it before, but you being 1st place in majority of the game doesn't mean shit if you don't have the skill to maintain it. She almost always get 1st place early with her superior drift and sharp turns, but her making mistakes that in her prime she wouldn't have was the biggest factor in why she couldn't qualify, thus what I've been calling it 'rusty', since today she was nowhere near that prime Aqua last year. Factoring all the variables where she didn't have time to practice much on top of packed scheduled and the tooth yanking made me expect that she won't qualify this year, which was correct. I can't be bothered with who actually qualifies.

Sorry for skipping this mentions. Assuming everyone has equal time of practice, Aqua is definitely winning her group. Back in her prime, she did NISC like eating breakfast and her turns were sharper. Even in current tournament Suisei still isn't courageous enough to do NISC, so the gap will grow every lap.

RNG definitely plays a lot, this game is designed around it after all. But as I already said before, player skill helps on minimizing the impact those RNG does to you if you're 1st, or helps you maximizing the efficiency of the item roll if you know 9th~12th place will get way better items compared to others.

She did the mistake of activating her Star pretty early when there's absolutely nothing going on, probably to pressure since she wanted to be as fast as possible at that time to overtake Okayu. Never try to push through the middle of the packs without a Star, a Boo, or a Bullet since they're the ones who always get shit like 3 red shells and they will definitely throw it unto you if they see you overtaking them.
