I might be extrapolating here but considering Gura ,Okayu and Ina's numbers which is in the trend of recovering from their numbers 5 days ago. Maybe there isn't a cull but a user/viewers audit happening to the channels like one anon theorized?
And the reason why some channels are not hit as hard as others are because:
1. Insulated viewers/users are faster to be audited by the bot than users who watch multiple holo/niji streams which would explain anomalies like Pekora, Gura and the other vtubers.
2. Some vtubers who have frequent/longer stream schedules are the ones who have better/faster chances of getting their entire viewerbase processed. Which would explain why the ones with the hardest culled streams are the ones who didn't stream much since new year since the bot have to audit their entire viewerbase at once.
In that conclusion, the answer might be to keep streaming until they get their numbers back. But this schizo conclusion is if you only consider the numbers from jan 1 onwards. Call me a schizo or whatever thanks for reading my blog.
