I like Warabeda's ASMR a lot because there's not a lot of sudden loud noises. Kurumi is a good destresser but I suddenly you get random cat noises or a clang(Patra also guilty of knocking things over) and I can't get back to sleep.

I'm suffering from Patra burnout as I've been sleeping to her ASMR for months now. Also got her ASMR pack on dlsite along with the ones her room mate made.
I guess it's a rule that she can't do ear consumption ASMR as Patra.

Currently trying to get into Mary's stuff, wish she'd do ore lavender oil massage.

Mel is really good and I hope she does more often. Her voice is a good match for Warabeda's but she retains her pitch a bit when whispering without piercing my ears. I appreciate that a lot, I hope she gets back into the swing of things. As it stands I only have 2-3 of her ASMR vids in rotation.

Noel and Choco don't quite do it for me, same goes for Niji's Ratna(zatsudan with ASMR mic) and Mikoto(she's just fooling around for 30 minutes).
I like Alice when she's not thanking superchat constantly.

Patra is light on her feet/hands when it comes to knocking stuff over. I don't mind it because it's not very obstructive. Healthy though. I like her, she's witty but 9/10 times she will knock over her mic or something important.

At that point it's not longer an accident, it's part of the program.

1. Excessively harsh/loud ear picking. Not only does harsh scraping not immerse you in the experience, but it’s hard to get tingles from it.
I prefer a softer sound when it comes to ear picking.
2. Inconsistent voice volumes. I love whispering since the soft air really fills the ear. But then suddenly they start talking in a normal voice and I can’t fall asleep anymore. Even worse is when they don’t back away from the mic to do so.
3. Bad audio quality. This one seems obvious but there’s a surprising amount of ASMR with poor audio quality. Bad EQ, clipping, simply bad mic etc. Sometimes the audio sounds bad with good equipment too.
4. Harsh voices. Some voices are not good for ASMR... usually “fuller” or sometimes deeper voices are better at filling the space.
5 Not ASMR. Lastly, some vtubers upload “ASMR” but they aren’t even ASMR. it’s just quiet noises.
I actually really respect people with good ASMR technique. It seems quite easy to ruin the experience with careless mistakes.
And honestly I wish there was more ASMR of just whispering. Nothing beats the warm enveloping feeling of a nice whisper... ear picking and such can get distracting for me.
