Subaru from Hololive is still succeeding with perhaps the shittiest model in the entire community right now so I don't think quality of your model means shit in the long run.

Just checked out Snuffy for the first time. Her mouth tracking is so accurate it's kind of uncanny. I don't really like it, it creeps me out. Also she just sounds like a typical vapid western roastie.

Vtubers are an imitation of anime, and most of the time anime characters just have 2 or 3 mouth frames that they cycle through, so why should mouth tracking be a high priority for Vtubers?
