Tsunderia's manager is doing a stream about Tsunderia rebranding and teaching a bit of marketing while at it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jHaakBXDRE

Please consider checking it out since the funds would go to helping one of the talents who lost her house in a recent typhoon.

>western values
>freedom
>individualism
As a western man living in a hyper-conformist shopping mall theme park obsessed with pretense and lies where everyone is expected to be happy OR ELSE, I take offense to the notion that those are western values after the past two years have shown that western countries are in fact in favor of mandates, demagoguery, tribalism, political theater and "discrimination in practice" (especially towards cis het white men).

As a fake pretend /biz/nessman, I would say that if they hope to appeal to weebs/otaku then it might be better to focus on Japanese artistic values. Japan is much more lenient with leaving artistic content (ie loli) be while valuing fanworks enough to have fanwork conventions.

Also, complaining about being understaffed is just whining. Who's fault is it if not the company's? If you're understaffed then don't grow beyond your ability to staff. Have a fairly thought out business roadmap based on hashing out possibilities and creating contingencies for when plans inevitably fall apart as they always do.

I'm literally a fat autistic NEET neckbeard with no higher education whatsoever, and I'm still appalled at the lack of professionalism shown by a company literally airing their shortcomings and trying to use the audience as a focus group out of sheer desperation, undrrstaffing, and apparently a lack of internal vision within the company.

What am I even watching? And why wasn't "backlash against having a male wave under the same brand as the females" under threats? This is just...

Anyway, that's my free rantsultation. Final advice is probably to find competent visionaries who won't ruin or embarrass the company. Good luck with that. Given how pozzed the west is, I'd imagine that's gonna be a herculean effort.

Forget my previous post. Seeing how simplistic, vague, meaningless and empty all of this brainstorming is, I'm just gonna turn off the stream and try not to vomit at how childish and condescending this entire stream was.

I don't know what I was watching, but I hope that's not the limit of how complex their real discourse is behind the scenes. I refuse to believe this is anything more than a cynical pointless PR stunt. If tsunderia staff unironically believe all this generalized hogwash, devoid of nuance and deep introspection, then all I can say is that I finally understand why chubas are dropping out and going on hiatus and owe wosemi an apology for shitposting about her being a social climber.

The biggest thing Tsunderia is missing is visibility.
Tsundream is doing on okay job of trying to get out there beyond just streaming. Miori obviously has it right, doing tiktok and the YT shorts. Kallin seems to be half-trying with the clips. The rest just kind of seem to be praying they get dragged along with the group.

If this company wants to go, they're going to have to try harder to get eyes on them and do more than just stream. Especially if they're going to stick to YT as their main platform.

Pumping out shorts and trying to hit the algo jackpot really seems like the way to go. It's not just Miori who's proving that, Shiki from PRISM and Nene from Kawaii also became as big as they are for largely the same reasons.

Cart before the horse. If your thread needs artificial bumps then it doesn't deserve to live. The real question is how to get people talking in your thread so that it reaches the bump limit. Doesn't really apply on a board like /vt/ where the board speed varies so drastically. One minute it can take multiple hours for a thread to die, next minute less than one.

I see this repeated a lot on this board, and I do agree with it to an extent. The problem is that the small corpos that DO pivot themselves towards being Hololive-lite end up finding a fair amount of success with at least one of their girls, and that's because the people that drop big money on SCs still see vtubers as nothing more than substitute GFs in the west. It's MUCH easier said than done to break through and get on the level of at least NijiEN since vtubing has its own restrictions on what it's capable of, and there's only so many ideas of there that are really that different from what someone bigger than you is doing. Additionally, even when they get picked up by the algorithm we can't be sure if they'll be able to use that newfound fame. It doesn't, but her subsequent admission on stream that day that her father wasn't actually mean to her shows that she lies about innocuous shit.
It's all hearsay when it comes to her graduation. I'm just a day 1 flea that paid attention to her behavior and personality before and after Tsunderia, and it's pretty obvious that she left because Tsunderia was attempting to use her explosive growth to lift up the other girls in the agency (like a good agency should), and she didn't want to give up the spotlight to anyone else, even her canine friend.
