I mean I'd differentiate vrchatters in that they mostly stream vrchat and some other vr games. In a good many cases the avatars they use aren't even "them", but models they might have picked up from a lobby or some other world, and often the kayfabe is completely absent, though this is also true for a good portion of vtubers. It's a thin line, but I always found there was some differentiation between the two.

Oddly enough, vrchatters came closer to Ai-chan's dreams of virtually connecting with each other than the current standard of L2D vtubers have. It's a shame that while technology finally advanced enough to develop better VR headsets and motion tracking, the actual VR content is still lackluster to the point VRchat is still pretty much the best thing there is to offer. The rest is all gimmicky tech demos.

desu I feel sort of the opposite towards Kitanya. She played a fuckload of minecraft, but because she basically knew the game like the back of her hand she could just ramble about whatever the fuck came to her mind, and she'd share the craziest fucking stories. Now she plays a much wider variety of games she knows very little about, so she ends up very focused and invested in what's going on, which is also great, but I sometimes miss the stories. She only even got to talk about baking when she fell into a quadruple tangent inception during a mediashare stream, which is a shame since she seems to really enjoy baking.

I do like both though. It's really cute how invested she gets into the games she plays now, but I also think there's less downtime where she just rambles. Yesterday's DBH stream was top tier though. Ten hours of uninterrupted kino.
