I mean, I'm glad she's at least streaming something, and I'm glad she puts so much effort in when she goes actually-stream, but yeah the content being at like the 7+ hour mark of quiet fishing vs karaokes / celebration streams etc isn't really that attractive to viewers.

I don't think it's necessarily just the skin color but the design is kind of funky looking, looks like a 90s fighting game character or something with the hair style and giant dango hair pieces. She looks bald when she turns her head to the side. Literally if she just had a different hairstyle and a retuned face the design has great potential, but it's too niche as it stands currently.

What really turned people off was the month long break followed by yet more breaks. Some Holos can get away with this kind of thing like Ayame but it's really not the case for most of the ones who only stream seldomly and/or take huge breaks - Aki comes to mind, she was out for a long time not long after debuting because of hip surgery. At least "I literally can't fucking sit down at my chair" is an actual reason to not stream. Yet, Aki always has been a dud ever since then in essence.

Sana is at least making an effort to put in a lot of hours and grind out her presence (Miko, Aqua, Pekora etc all did that too) but it needs to be buoyed by more content delivery. Basically if she streamed Minecraft for like 8 hours and was very amusing in it, instead of Animal Crossing fishing quietly, she'd probably manage to build things back up. Thing is we're thick in the Pokemon arc right now and she just wants to play that and AC more and that's fine. After the tourney is complete however I'd think she ought to lean on buff games to stand a better chance. Part of what kept Aki down was an insistence on playing ARK all the time and that's a niche audience, etc.

Yeah, no. Sana is my favorite but let's be realistic here, she has always been the least liked of the group. There was initially just a lot of shitposts about her because muh-HUGE-chocolate-goddess-plz-sit-on-my-face posters, but that's pretty much it. Her skin color filtered most /vt/, then it was her aussie accent. To be honest, as far as 4chan is concerned those has to be the biggest debuffs you could get and she got both of them.
We couldn't even expect to get Japanese numbers because obviously those people don't like blacks, and Gura's existence pretty much captured them all already.

While she says she doesn't care my rrat is that it's a lie. She does, or did, which is why now she flipped and started not caring about apologizing after taking all those long breaks or not doing that much. It felt more of a general "Fuck you you never cared anyway so shut up" to me. I really like her, actually she's one of the few who, while still not being a complete fan, managed to capture my attention.
