Didn't Marine make a comment on how rare it is to get Pekora to collab with her since she's so picky in making sure the collab is really good? Also isn't Pekora one of those few holos who don't really like to being shipped with others? Marine and Pekora's relationship is pretty complicated. Pekora started out a cute shy bunny girl, whereas Marine was more brash and outragious. However despite that they're both fundamentally insecure. Pekora has - over the last year especially - come to embrace her idol dream and has become somebody who others look up to and is more willing to go out of her way to help people and take responsibily for things. Marine on the other hand as had a tough year. Despite both of them being popular if you read between the lines Marine took Pekora's rise a little to heart. As the former 'head of Gen 3' Marine has found herself insecure - at times envious of Pekora's success whilst dealing with her irl issues like vocal problems and general depressive tendencies. At a certain point, Marine gave up and decided to lean on Pekora a bit and has come to realise that they're more friends than rivals and has come to rely on Pekora and accept that in some ways the rabbit has overtaken her. Ultimatly they're still two of the best friends in Hololive and remain somewhat alike underneath so the relationship is good for both of them.
