Some of them are definitely lying or at least exaggerating their experiences, but some of their stories feel way too real to be made up. Anon, maybe they are successful and loved by thousands now, but it doesn't mean it was like that for them when they were younger. In order to be a streamer you need no have some level of quirkiness, which is not the best quality to have for avoiding to be the target of bullies. JP girls probably had it even worse, knowing how hard societal norms are in Japan, and this kind of creative people don't match what society expect for them, which usually not good.
