What's unsual right now? Taking a brief look at on-going streams compared to Holo's normal performances:
Pekora got 15k and 19k on her previous recent two Undertale streams too, and her current was peaking at 17k (she has been wiping over and over on San for a while).
FBK is getting 18k on a normal playthrough (not a shiny hunting stream), which is higher than most Holo's normal Pokemon playthrough (before elite 4) recently.
Okayu's last MK with Subaru got 15.9k as well (she peaked at around 17k today).

At the same time the Vtubing market in the West has dramatically changed since the end of 2021. You have several smaller groups and indies chipping away at Hololive dominance which is to be expected.

Well, yes. What the hell is a sharp blade going to fucking do against full plate armor? Even the joints are going to have chain-mail or hardened leather specifically to reduce the damage you could do on those obvious weak-points.
A crushing blow though? Yea, that's gonna disorient an opponent and then you could slide a knife into an unarmored gap and kill the bloke (or just ransom them off since that tended to make more sense).

Not everyone in Europe was a fully armored knight. Think of those like the special forces. Most soldiers used spears across the board but swords were common as sidearms and sometimes primary weapons and were used mostly like you imagine a sword would be used.

Horses also ran around without armor a lot of the time and were vulnerable to swords and arrows. Falling off a moving horse kills/maims/paralyzes plenty of people even today

I assume anon's point is that european swords didn't have to be sharp at the edge (like a knife), as demonstrated by the fact the illustration is showing both armored knights holding the sword by the blade (which would be stupid, as even if the gloves could resist the sharpness of the sword it would fucking dull them)

European Swords only had to be moderately sharp and very heavy, in a way even the impact on a fully armored knight would be incapacitating due to the blunt force.
