Since women don't watch streams, a male vtuber can't be a talentless loser because no one is attracted to his voice or model. Male streamers get by by being clowns, friend simulators, or in rare cases by being genuinely entertaining. But since there are way, way more male streamers than female streamers the competition is brutal as fuck. Basically the mechanics are completely different for male streamers because their content and performance matters, female streamers will get views by default because male viewers want to fuck them. And even if women did watch streams, they aren't lonely and desperate so there's nothing to exploit. If anything they'd be more judgemental and demanding than the male viewers are.

Extremely diverse and varies depending on their stream times. During Prime Time JP hours, you have a lot of Chinese/Taiwanese/Asian/Japanese fans for both Mysta and Vox with the occasional Euro, Russian and even Brits. During Prime time EU for Mysta and Vox, it's primarily Euro and NA. Roughly 60% women when Vox does zatsudans or non gaming streams and flips to 60-65% men with his game streams. Mysta stays consistent with 60-65% females. Haven't checked out Shu's analytics but I'd think a lot are JP women who's interested in NijiEN with also JP guys who just wanna watch a Nijisanji EN member speak in their language. I anticipate that Luca has the higher male-to-female viewers because his content does seem to orientate towards bro-streamer content. Ike is an enigma to me, I haven't watched his streams nor looked at his analytics.

There is competition but it's criminally negligible because Tsunderia and MyHoloTV aren't very popular nor did they advertise their male talents very well. I wish they did because I like Kazune and Virion. So yeah, what Luxiem did for male chuubas is capture the crucial lightning in the bottle as two of the guys in Luxiem are already set to reach 100k subs by the end of this year.

Well that's the really hard part because you can't ignore the other side of the fanbase they have catered. Vox especially because you would think that he would only exclusively pander to women but his gaming streams paint an extremely different side to his fanbase. Now, there is of course a big overlap because some women will always wish to watch him regardless of what he does and vice versa for some guys.

So what I'm thinking is that the EN male chuubas should strike a careful balance of catering to both sexes. Kuzuhs and a lot of Nijisanji males seem like pretty good examples of this already. You have Valz who is a male wave that is most certainly catered to a lot of women but on a lot of their streams, their demographics are either male-oriented or completely split.

It's very difficult to pull that off though which is why, more often than not, EN males just don't do well

I'm going to talk about women because I know you mean women and not exclusively fujos. It takes 5 seconds of being into any anime that has men in it and to look in Japanese twitter to see that they love buying multiple copies of merch, starting collections, going to any cafe collaboration and cheating to get multiple entries and swap the merch on twitter, etc. They'll literally buy trolleys of manga just to make sure their favorite manga outsells everyone else, they're huge fucking numberfags. Female otaku spending culture in Japan is insanely huge.
That doesn't translate to the West exactly thanks to there being no normal anime merch stores and everything needing to be shipped in, but Luxiem so far have all done better in their first actual monetization stream than several of the NijiEN girls, forget about the several thousands of dollars sent in Streamlabs to the guys, meanwhile the girls had to keep reminding their fans that Streamlabs existed.
