I believe floor 7 is the last floor that people who just started the game can be assigned to, so if you get to floor 8 you're allowed to call yourself decent at the game expect a huge difficulty spike after that though (even then the difference between a floor 8 and celestial player is insane). One of the ""fun"" parts of GGS is that while floors are a good general gauge of someone's skill, there are always people who are underrated because they got 4-5 match ups against people who were destined to be on a floor higher, and people who are overrated because of the opposite Also fags who pull the plug on their net connections before losing. Additionally people who don't live in the USA/Canada and Japan seem fucked for matches. I've got a Eurobuddy who basically can only fight me, and is stuck on floor 2 as a result of me being the better player.
