I post on hlgg because rrats and being aware of everything happening in hololive provide more entertainment than most of the streams. Havent watched kiara, mori or gura for at least a month.

I feel ENVY because 20-something y.o. girls are making millions of yen per day just for sitting, playing games and being retarded, while I'm useless piece of shit nobody cares about and it will stay that way no matter whether I work on myself or not, regardless of circumstances or effort I put in.
I used to have a job related to cancer treatment, so I was saving lives, albeit indirectly, and my salary was equivalent to 3 akasupas per month. A hologirl can get that much literally in a matter of seconds. So at least a few human lives cost less than couple of hours of questionable entertainment. I lost motivation to do anything, so my second sin is ACEDIA, or Apathy/Sloth.
I was numberfagging for a few months checking their income from superchats. So, GREED.
I actually more satisfied by the fact that some of them have serious health problems, it makes me believe in just world because that way they deserved they success as a compensation for their shitty lives. But then I remember that there are hundreds of indies who are potentially more talented and their lives are even shittier and they're getting jack shit because of how much big companies control the market. Most successful vtubers owe everything to the company and their biggest achievement was to pass auditions, after that they're getting free pass and 1 mil+ viewer base.
I actually wished some chuubas to die, because I either dislike them, their fanbase, or think that they're bad influence to the scene as a whole, or they didn't deserve their success. WRATH.

I turned 30 and my family worries about me and my well being. They know that I'm single and my job prospects aren't as great as my other cousins and even nephews. I'm not really sure anon. I have had my fair share of friends and some relationships for the past 10 years. But somewhere in between, I came back to the net and I never recovered from my addiction. I never faced my personal problems and ended up double downing my habits because of it. The only way that I feel you can make friends are through the net (social media) and go to offline meets. I fucking hate that my mind goes to a place like this, but it seems like it'd be long here, here goes.
I like women, and I do want to talk to 'em more. Friendships, perhaps even a relationship, it'd be nice.
But I'm fucking terrified. I'm always worried about saying the wrong thing or coming across a certain way. So I often say nothing. I usually don't even get responses. And the times where I try to step out of my comfort zone I regret it because I actually do end up saying or doing something wrong and I have no idea what it is since I just get ignored and I have to figure it out all on my own and drive myself mad. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. Maybe I am being too much, maybe I'm actually overbearing and I don't realize it, maybe I haven't tried hard enough, maybe I'm trying too hard. I don't know.
With Vtubers however, I don't have to worry about kinda stuff.
I know they won't ever respond to me personally. I don't have to worry about saying the wrong thing or doing something dumb because they won't fucking see anything I send anyway. In a way, it's just a fantasy. One I get to lose myself in and enjoy, even if it means looking away from reality for a while.
The question then becomes when that veil fades, but I try to tell myself that I'll enjoy this stuff while it's around. It helps that I've been at home for a year.
But in reality, nothing changes. Even if things were to go back to "normal" and I try socializing again, I don't know. I'm scared.
There's also a part of me that just says "you know what, fuck everything, who gives a shit, just fucking do something", and that's in direct conflict with the other, scared part of me. And I'm kind of torn somewhere in the middle.
I hate all of these thoughts. That's why this is a sin, and that's why I'm confessing here.

Towa is my oshi but I haven't watched or payed attention to her streams in what feels like forever. I'm usually unable to catch the rare and short non APEX stream, but I can always catch her when it's apex, it's always fucking APEX, it will forever be fucking apex. It's also one of the only games she's willing to stream for multiple hours, and now its sometimes two apex streams a fucking day. I'll take anything literally anything over more apex. I didn't hate apex before the last few months but now I cant stand it.

Not too sure to be honest, Suisei basically never does GFE, tends to maintain professional distance with the chat, and is clearly very performance-focused. But at the same time her character is basically just herself, and she is unfiltered and nerdy enough to be – apparently dangerously – relatable for the kind of crowd who would watch vtubers. So the end result is some kind of friend simulator, and maybe her refusal to do any real GFE merely serves to make it a realistic kind of girlfriend simulator for some.

But most vtubers are nerdy and most can't keep up either a character or a filter for that long, so I'm not really sure why Suisei should stand out. Everyone has their Goslings after all, and Suisei supposedly is the Holo who comes closest to having a 50:50 ratio of male and female fans.

I really enjoy Vtubers. It's been a nice escape. I have something to look forward to each week.
But I feel guilty for enjoying myself. Every time I find myself enjoying literally anything I think "you don't deserve this, you deserve to suffer" to myself.
