I love vei, and I owe her for some of stream stuff, I'll support her even when I would have dropped another streamer, but it's getting harder and harder to justify the effort spent watching her, and it is effort with the constant not knowing when she will stream, vods being fucked, hours of reacting while baiting that the games going to start in 10 minutes. And so much of what I used to like about her is just gone, her unfiltered nature, streaming early, long streams, playing lots of games, hanging out with people in discord, and later pmg, the unique streams she did instead of saying "oh, xqc and forsen isn't playing this? Then I wont", the 3d, her chat interaction that became impossible when she blew up,


If it was a once off thing I would wait, but since last year this time when she started acting like the current model was going to fix her depression and make streaming fun again she's hit a new low every couple of months, and now she's back in that mindset that THIS model will fix it all. A year ago it was the occasional joke about her not wanting to stream, then before the debut she took time off because streaming isn't fun with the old model, now she spends 20 minutes every stream talking about how much she hates streaming and it ruined games for her and she doesn't want to play games, and chat sucks, and setting up VR is so hard, while getting drunk or high just to get through a 4h stream. she's isolating herself more from her friends while complaining about not having friends. At this point I'm starting to wonder if she even still talks with SNIS off stream, she roped them into dnd, minecraft, valheim, yet now she's too scared to ask them to play a once off zombine game with her. If things were good irl I could justify it with "good for her, she's getting out of the internet and streaming life" but we know irl vei has been having it hard too, it's sad to watch someone spiraling into deeper and deeper depression for months like this

Maybe the new model realy will fix everything, but I honestly don't see her coming back to full time streaming again, if her fans are lucky she's going to go the froot route and have a week here and there where she streams, if not there's a real possibility she's just going to fade out of the public eye and one day we will realize that the stream 2 months ago was her last ever

I'm just sad because last year August to November she became my perfect vtuber, how mouse always talks about there being a vtuber for everyone, she was mine, and I don't know if I'll ever find someone I love watching as much ever again.
