Fish Tank was peak collab because they dared themselves to tackle a novel idea of a stream. Multiplied by their wacky antics and you got an instant classic people still beg Ame to continue (I remember that "Fish Tank with Ina" when spammer lmao).
Their recent collabs haven't attempted to do that, and at the end fell flat to just "repeat memes and try to be funny". That MC End collab was great, but how many of Ame's childhood stories we had already heard did she rehearse? That's probably the "substance" that is missing. Even I prefer the B4B collab of Ina, Mori, and IRyS with Ame hacking zombies than the recent Fortnite collab.

Eh yeah I do vaguely disagree but I think it does just come down to circumstance for the most part. It’s like trying to compare how much fun you had playing games with your friends one random night vs another, it could easily come down to simply the mood you or someone else happened to be in that day. But then, collabs are really pretty infrequent in the grand scheme of things, which I think is fine, but then you have the fanbase analyzing and comparing entire relationships and dynamics based on a single day out of a couple months. In the end I don’t think trying to rank them makes much sense.

I really love Gurame collabs. The shark is my second favorite after all. But even I think their fortnite stream was really lackluster. Their other collabs have been perfectly fine though, so I don't think that their chemistry got worse. It might have been Ame's situation, or maybe the fact that they were playing against bots and without goofy skins to make fun of.
I love most of Ame's previous collab partners too though, and there are lots of other holos who would make for some great streams, so I wouldn't mind if she played something with someone other than Gura. I think Fauna would be a good choice.

I think the Gurame dynamic is just too familiar and static now for their collabs to be "exciting" or super fun or whatever. They still have value for the comfy, relaxing "friends playing a game together while on voice chat" vibe, but they're not really 10/10 unmissable collabs anymore.
