Honestly it was better for Cover to graduate them all so they could get picked up by Chinese companies hell Civia and Rosalyn literally just use upgraded versions of their Hololive models and even wrote the graduation into the lore. There was a specific channel in her discord server called "other vtuber talk" it was added to quarantine discussion the discussion of vtubers that weren't artia, since vtuber discussion was drowning out everything else in general (also tia didn't like it so much). The OVT channel became the second most active channel in the server, after general and developed its own unique subcommunity and subculture.
When artia graduated and was preparing to reincarnate, she was inactive for months, the server's activity went down by quite a bit as a result. However, OVT stayed about as active as it was previously, it became the most active channel in the server by far and was the lifeblood that kept the server alive.
When tia finally reincarnated, that channel stayed as active as ever, and even during her streams, users would continue to chat about other vtubers in OVT. She got jealous of this saying that "it's like you're NTRing me with these other vtubers" at first she just locked down the channel during her streams (by putting a 6 hour cooldown on messages in it) but then just deleted it entirely stating that there's no plans to bring it back.
The server's activity never recovered after it lost the OVT channel, i'd say it was a more severe loss (to active usership of the server) than the final graduation of tia herself

wow i worded this really clumsily but i can't figure out a way to say it more concisely so i'll just explain what i mean (if you understand what i meant earlier you don't need to read past this point). let's say that if we took a sample size of 100 posts on /vt/ and checked to see how many were esl, and let's say we found 15. that would mean on average 15% of posts in /vt/ are esl posts. now lets instead take a sample of every anti CN post, in my experience, i've found that the ESL post percentage of CN anti posts (whatever it is) is significantly higher than the ESL post percentage of your typical /vt/ post

I imagine most posters who care about HoloCN either way understand that they were just another branch and while yeah, at best them getting cut was a necessary business decision and at worst the Artia rrats are true and some of them deserved to be graduated, but it's nothing worth freaking out about.

Rosalyn is the only other one who "claimed" to speak English(but she can't) and unless one of the ENs was a massive card game autist, she probably would not have interacted with them.
