Also helped by having so many movement options to recover from any fail, and the ability to accumulate so much health. Even Kiara had mostly got to grips with that by the end and you can even brute force some sections. Super Meat Boy would be the easier side of silly hard platformers and that is way harder than Ori. Well, I can't say Momodora and Lodoss are good games. Especially the second one, too ridiculous and tedious. Touhou Luna Nights would be better. Maybe also Bloodstained or new Metroid.
Hollow Knight is good, but it would probably be too dark (and difficult) for Kiara. So are Ender Lilies and Blasphemous.
Personally, I love Iconoclasts, it has a fascinating plot and good characters, it's like watching an anime. But this game is pretty long and contains a lot of puzzles.
SteamWorld Dig and Yoku's Island Express might work well. They are positive and meditative, and can be combined with zatsudans.
But most of all I would like to see Rabi Ribi. It's got pretty laconic pixel art, but it's really fun, bright, and there's a lot of cute girls. And one of the best metroidvania in terms of gameplay and gamedesign. But its developer is from Taiwan...
