Why outfit reveals get so much attention anyway. Are they really that important?

Would a new outfit really effect the amount of time you spend watching your oshi?

As for the actual reveal stream, it's mostly 50 minutes of boring art reviews and then 10-20 minutes of slowly revealing the outfit. It's at best mildly interesting but not memorable content by any means.

Also, outfit reveals are getting so common that they're just not special anymore.
