There are conflicting reports about why they're doing it, and the HoloEN girls haven't really elaborated because they aren't allowed to or don't understand it. The first possibility is that it's some schizo corporate shit that won't effect Kson who is an indie. Not that she was holding up the company, but that she was constantly making content with everyone, making them laugh, giving them a platform to support themselves, giving them a platform to support each other, being at the center of a revolution in vtubing, someone who was visible from all corners of the vtubing world, standing tall but being a part of a home.
That was her strength - a super charismatic strong support character that buffed everyone around her.

Already said it in one of the letters. To summarize, I find her personality to be really likeable and inspirational. Someone who stays positive no matter the circumstances. Reminds me of my ex honestly. There's also how she is helping to give more attention to 2view indie vtubers for both JP and EN audiences, like she did during her Hololive days where she was ready to save anyone in need: that's one of the reasons I liked GMMF, sad that it was canned. There isn't much we can say that would help her. She has no goals as a vtuber. Or better yet, all the goals she had she keeps throwing them out of the window. She starts GMMF with the plan of having more friends, then changes her mind. She starts a minecraft server to play with those friend, then she doesn't play with them. What she needs is a clear idea of the content she wants to make.

Looks like she's really got issues with what she usually wanna do, even putting aside the unique content thing.

Generally the main things one thinks of for her is her SC banter, meme reviews and tying together of JP-EN and global audiences. HoloX's Yamada is nailing it with SC banter now for holofans. The meme reviews have become, well, a bit stale, if more reliably decent, and Irys/rat is trying a twist later with a drinking game which seems interesting. Hololive as a whole has been going pretty hard on the JP-EN collabs, generating more than enough cross-language content, with all the clippers hard at work.

At this rate she's gonna get outdone by Hololive at her strong points and her favoured content. To make things worse, she prolly won't be able to do non-archived karaoke anymore due to the copyright shenanigans.

And the only EN clips of her that seem to take off are coomer bait content or Holo-related stuff. All the other content and collabs she does, even when they are interesting, don't take off much. There's already a significant overlap in viewership with Pikamee, I don't see the Vshojo/Kson-specific audiences actually sticking around in each others' channels beyond collabs, and nobody beyond the Shin'eitai cares about the 2view friends (which is a shame, they're pretty underrated). So she's not pulling in new fans outside of the Holo-aware crowd.

That's prolly what the professor collab/talk on superchats was partially about; an attempt to reach out to people outside of the holo-sphere. I'm still disappointed the only clip on EN side was Iroha (with the usual misleading BS).

In terms of clips I think there are several bottlenecks to overcome. One is that roommate posting is taboo, especially after what happened to Aloe, so most big clippers won't touch her. Second is that her content doesn't lend itself to discoverability (there's a reason why most clips focus on multiple hololive members). Third, her streams don't have short highlights, but are more drawn out most of the time, game streams in that regard are better, because the pace of the game determines it.
Forth, most big clippers also are only able to translate simple Japanese.

I'm thinking about opening some kind of requests thread in the discord. I can translate and edit video (very slowly) but what I can't do is watch every single stream when it comes out while also keeping timestamp notes. I also don't really know what EOPs are interested in and I don't have a knack for finding good things to clip so crowdsourcing should help with that.
