At first I didn't think IRyS' singing was that special. Good but not kneelworthy. Since then I've listened to some of her karaoke streams and am now convinced that she's easily the best in EN. With some more practice she might even be good by JP standards.

Gura is the better singer. Mumei is a close but her vocal style is way too niche/obscure and only fits a few certain genres.

IryS is also good but not as talented as gura, she can't sing in tune or control her voice that well. That said, these 3 are obvious miles ahead of any other EN members.

I like IRyS's voice more than mumeis but she's not as consistent as pitch control as gura. She sometimes slips and goes flat or sharp on some notes.

Actually it has a lot to do with being able to judge whether someone or an instrument is in tune or not. There's a reason why you'll see musicians with perfect pitch not needing a tuner or use a reference while tuning their instruments. I'm not gonna disagree on the fact that IRyS has matchine-like pitch control, because she doesn't. No one can sing every note in tune while live, even professional singers. I'm just stating that I find that she has the advantage over Gura in that aspect.

That being said, there are other aspects that Gura does have the edge on, so I find their overall levels very close. I'd love to see their progress if they both ever started receiving vocal lessons.

I really like IRyS's actual studio songs a lot.

But aside from who's the technically better singer, gura's voice is just much more pleasant to listen to in my opinion (without auto-tune). This isn't biased by rose colored goggles either as I'm not a particularly big fan of either of them.

Mumei has a great musical voice but sings in such a "cursive" way like halsey or whatever you call it. Id say shes in top three if she didnt make dumb comments on every song and slurred her lines everytime
