I don't care what the actual video is or whether or not it's good, the fact that she's collabing with a cancer dramatuber is itself the issue. The guy's a scumbag and she should stay as far away from him as possible, not reward him with a video that's guaranteed to get 100k+ views and a few thousand bucks in ad revenue. I have to wonder if she has like zero vetting at all on the English side of things and has never even looked at the dude's Youtube channel, or if she's just stupid or something and doesn't see the hypocrisy. It's honestly baffling that she had hundreds of vtubers submit contact information to her and she found all these underappreciated indies like Ribbon or Momo who are pretty cool, but on the EN side she seems to find the most controversial people possible.

They may still be good friends or very-friendly acquaintances, but now there's a degree of separation that probably can't be crossed (I have very little hope or expectation that they'll ever let Kson collab with Holos).

But if the corporate aspect was suffocating her at the time (or if there were more complicated reasons), there's nothing that can be done about it. After reading the thread, I think doomposting about the Nux collab is a bit unwarranted. Until recently Nux and Melody were friends who streamed together, so I would follow Kson wouldn’t have the same reservations about collabing with him despite the dramafagging he does on his channel. And considering the recent drama he got embroiled in that saw him get called out for prioritizing clicks over all else even by people not officially a part of Vshojo (such as Snuffy reposting clips of him trying to get her to react to him calling Logan Paul epic for the Suicide Forest video) or the CEO of Vshojo releasing the private conversations between Nux and the Cyber security guy they hired showing Nux didn’t care much when it was pointed out that his video might contain misinformation and the give the desired attention to the doxxers, I can’t imagine he’ll go back to his usual antics anytime soon in order to cement the goodwill he won back with what I believe to be his nonapology (released in the middle of the night like most fake apologies are). Definitely don’t like the guy if you can’t tell, but the guy burned a lot of bridges already, I can’t imagine he’ll try anything that’ll piss even more people off anytime soon.
