I'll answer honestly OP:

Sana is the best (artist) in Hololive both on a technical and creative level, but she's nowhere near Ina when it comes to drawing streams and speed, especially at THAT quality. To be fair I think Ina had more PL art streaming experience. It still takes away one of the main reasons why Sana got in which sucks, but she does contribute a lot behind the scenes to make up for it. The bad thing about Ina's speed is what people above have said; it's the same thing over and over because it has to be. Sana puts a lot more thought into the whole presentation of her work which slows her down. I think Ina has slightly better anatomy and a much cleaner style which is incredibly satisfying to look at. I've seen Ina's big projects where she clearly had a lot more time and they're stunning, but they still lack vibe and emotion. They both suffer equally with sameface.

IMO, i really like the Sanaface better maybe becaus it's more "moe" or expressive than Ina's. i really can't like Inaface for some reason i can't explain. something about lacking soul maybe. but yeah i can see why more clients would prefer Ina because she has the speed and consistency, very important skillsets to have on a very competitive industry.

I just wanna mention how incredibly fast Ina progressed as an artist. This was Ina 5 years ago. She was okay but still a complete amateur in comparison. I can find random twitter artists with less than 5k followers that are more skilled than her at pic related.
In less than 5 years she went from an amateur nobody to an established pro artist and an art streamer powerhouse.

No he means she never does "creative" things with the colors, poses, compositions or themes. It's always a very well drawn, very clean, anime girl character posing statically nowadays.

She used to be more bold and creative before she was contracted and before going through the meat grinder of multiple contracts at the same time and being forced to specialize for efficiency. I like pic related from 3 years ago way more than her current stuff even if her current stuff takes less time and is better drawn.

I feel she has barely progressed this last year. She just got a bit better and faster but she hasn't pushed herself much. And if she keeps being complacent she'll develop bad habits and will stagnate since habits are harder to break the more you repeat them. That's why I really like that she's attempting animation

Something about Ina's art just looks so CRISP and satisfying. Like it's a sticker you could peel right off the monitor.
I really do wish Ina would do more dynamic poses and situations for her art though. Its always just a cute anime girl standing in a pose. Like her Laplus illustration, it looks incredible, seriously im shocked whenever i see the quality of it compared to everyone else and she drew it in ONE stream. But at the same time, you had the chance to draw anything and you choose , just standing there ?

Can someone show me an example of an anime style artist who doesn't have same face problems ?
I feel like people just throw that term around as an insult but anime character faces are fundamentally less diverse than "realistic" faces

Looking at these 2 pieces, if i was Sana, i would definitely feel a lot of anxiety about doing an Ina style drawing stream.
Ina's style produces such clean drawings that even if Sana was just as fast, her art would still come off as a little "unrefined" compared to Ina's. Not saying its better but id feel a little insecure in comparison

I think you just have a preference for realistic drawings than stylized drawings. I think Sana's art in general isn't boring, it's very detailed and expressive, and the colors are always good. Meanwhile Ina sometimes goes too fast and while anatomically correct it ends up just being...bland.

She's a machine because she's done it several hundreds of times, but if you put her to draw something else (like that Marine pinup drawing from like 2 months ago that she never finished) she'll struggle a lot .

Sana hands down… Incredibly detailed. Not a fan of moe face but it works very well with the color usage. That’s why if you look at the window she’s made it so far in the industry. Ina is a good artist but stays within the box.
