As an oldfag who started following Hololive from 2018 until now, Pekora. The woman had conviction. Even though she was pretty shit in communicating with other members not Gen 3 she kept on pushing through. If she believed in something, then she would hold that belief and persists no matter what people said about her. She kept on using 'peko' even though there were a lot of people unhappy with how she's playing the character a bit too much.

The best example of this conviction was probably on her ARK (Ragnarok) stream. She spent ~11h searching for a female Lv 145 or higher Baryonyx and refused to budge from the marshland area even though a lot of her viewers were telling her that she should check the Spino area since Baryonyx also spawn in higher quantity there. In the end after a grueling 11+ hours she tried checking the Spino area as a joke and found a Lv 150 female Baryonyx instead. It was a great moment.
There was also a time during the Aberration arc where she said she was feeling pressured to always play with the other Gen 3 members and to also clear the contents together. She didn't really care though and tried exploring the bottom most region with her crab alone. What happened after probably traumatized her. The viewers kept on backseating her on where to go and how to control the crab, while also berating her whenever she tried doing something on her own. To add into it the stream got pretty choppy suddenly and she decided to end it there. After that stream, she didn't touch ARK again until Miko invited her to steal Rock Drake eggs. At that time I felt really bad for her.

Then came the MGS arc. She changed here.
Her first stream (MGS3) was an absolute shitshow. She was never a good gamer, and to add into that it's her first time playing the series so she was expectedly bad. The backseat was incredible. She probably thought that she wouldn't be able to continue playing the game unless she gets some help, so at this time she decided to heed the words of backseaters.
This is the beginning of Usada Pekora that most people in this board know of, a war criminal rabbit that always act cocky but ends up getting her just desserts.
Was it her thinking that she can't finish the game unless chat is always there helping her? Or was it because she saw the numbers skyrocketed once she accept the backseaters, then getting drunk of it? I have no idea.
But from that point on, this woman doesn't even play anything anymore. The chat plays it for her. She is there just to react to whatever happens after following the backseat. And it's working, the numbers keep on rising. More and more people coming to see how miserable can this one rabbit be after following shitty instructions given to her since she will always execute it anyway.

I used to really like her, being a hardworker she was. Then she turned and sided with the people that she despised the most, the backseaters, all probably because the numbers are higher that way. I have never been that disappointed in someone before, yet this woman who I will never meet directly face on managed to do it for me.

Pretty much this. From what I've seen of her Chloe is really banking on her cute avatar, moe ponkotsu and "horror game scawy" whining to make herself endearing to people, but other than that she doesn't really have much else going for her.
Her singing has potential if she gets lessons, but right now she's just average at best because she doesn't have enough control, depth or power to her singing voice (her deep voice singing is pure sex if nothing else). Other Holos mog her when it comes to singing, particularly Suisei and Moona.
Pandering hard to EOPs. This is smart because she can at least string sentences together and communicate at a very basic level, which is more than a lot of JP Holos can do. But there's been a lot of cases of JP Holos going "English study! I want to learn English!" and then they eventually drop this and in turn their EOP fans once they reach specific milestones. Noel is an example. She hasn't done a single duolingo stream since she got to 1M. Time will tell if Chloe is the same in that regard.

Beyond these things she doesn't really have anything that makes her stand out yet, so she's mostly relying on the moe cutesy acting. How long can she keep people interested with that? So far her viewer retention is good, but there's still debut buff. It'll be interesting to see where she's at in 2-3 months.

Watame, she's my oshi and in no way I would hate her. I really hope she could reach a big stage for all her hard-works she did. However at this point she's only a "good singer", not someone I could even consider great artist. I feel that it has to do with her personality. Some of her songs really lacks something, even sometimes the mixing really ruined her voice. It's way better and soulful to just enjoy her live singing stream. Also her taste is just too broad compared to other holomems that she could not even focus in something she excels/actually popular or getting along with the latest trend better.
