But to add to it during sports festival Peko and Miko acted like nothing ever happened and Peko again let down walls and expressed uncertainty if she was capable to lead and do the important birdman to which Miko let her know she believed in her 100% and without the PekoMiko heart to heart Peko might have not done the bird man, also during the week Miko gave Peko the 3rd person camera switch to land. Then during the festival after the first flight Miko baited Peko into flying again because she knew she wasn't satisfied unless she got a perfect score. During that time in between flights everything Peko said was directed to Miko who in turn supported her again and tells Peko show them what you can do. Then Peko aces it, Miko goes nuts they have a little Tete. The end.

On the MiComet end of things I found their interaction interesting. PekoMiko starts again Suisei has a toothache can't join calls( although right before that she talked during a stream) but still joins to hang out with Miko. Sports Festival and Suisei shows up late for her business partners big event. I don't recall any MiComet interaction besides red light green like when Miko tries to get Suiseis attention and is ignored. But then the very next day Suisei is the first person to show up making Miko happier than I've ever seen her. Makes me believe they were just friends before the sports festival, Suisei figures out she's got feelings because she is upset with the PekoMiko teetee. They possibly get into a fight before the sports festival and Suisei showing up first the next was her apologizing to Miko which then made them official.

About the shell thing, I’ve actually listened to it a few times and she never mentions Pekora specifically. I looked at the minimap as well and couldn’t identify Senchou being able to see who Miko hit with the shell. It’s been a while so would need to look over it again.
I wrote most of “main events” in the fanfic. Can’t forget it’s unavoidable for them to have interacted during Bloom, as to why I put it as the last official interaction they have with one another until Mario Party.

People are definitely overstating it, but I think the Mario Party collab did have undeniable moments of tension. It cannot be explained away that Miko was so frustrated with Pekora ignoring her PMs that she actually told her off on stream. Other than that it was mostly a normal collab though, not nearly as crazy scuffed as people make it out to be.

Basically it was just an extremely long radio silence followed by slightly awkward collabs. The extreme difference between pre-2021 PekoMiko and everything until the sports festival is what really makes clear something was up. You dont go from the most intimate point in their careers to professional distance so quickly. The Sports Festival training collab was the first time they 1 on 1 collabed and were completely comfortable around each other again, which is why people assume they made up before that.

I’m sure that’s part of her anxious nature, it’s usual for people who are like that to ignore messages and close off from the rest of the world/your friends, it’s not like she hates them, it’s just difficult to keep a conversation with them or keep in contact often.
