Kind of a weird decision since Youtube gaming is poaching top twitch streamers and they are gladly to jump ship and those who already went to be youtube exclusive choose to stay even when their time is up for exclusive streaming rights.

I think Twitch would be fantastic for watch parties for watchalong streams. Plus can double up on gachikoi with Twitch subs. Basically, follow what Miko is doing.

Not sure if you know this, but allegedly a lot of twitch streamers are starting to switch contracts with twitch and are moving to YouTube Gaming, surprisingly. This could affect quite a number of our oshis if we aren't precognizant of the situation.

Holo members should just do what Miko/Peko are doing where they stream about once a month on Twitch, it's a huge secondary revenue income at least with how many people gift subs.

Hes not lying, I spesifically remember this. Japs culture is fucking weird as hell with what they consider to be "rude", and raids fall under that hyperautism umbrella apparently. They even made the managers enforced it in EN, any time a group of people would go from one EN to the next when one ended, if they ever mentioned it the EN Gen1 girl whos stream they left would chew them out on the next stream and get all passive-agressive that they even acknowleged that other streams existed when entering a chat.

don't they all have some bullshit in each video description about not talking about other streamers in chat. i can understand if that's mainly for keeping things on topic for the current stream, but would also not doubt if it falls under something like this.

As I recall it was some retardarion like "it distracts from the stream and makes chat become offtopic for a few minutes" which is doubly retarded not only because its shitting on your ability to cross-promote passively, but also the chats are unfuckingusable garbled mess anyway so who the fuck cares? You telling me anyone is keeping up with 30+ messages a second in the first place?

>> No.14000148

>>14000020
Nah, its about any and all streamers, other holos included. I have seen mods and holos go apeshit if other holo girls are mentioned without them bringing them up first. You would think its some kind of anti-competition thing, but if thats true they are acknowleging that they are internally competing against each other which seems unlikely

>> No.14000201

most EN chuubas seem ok with it. but i've never seen it get excessive or divert too much for too long so what do i know. may very well be a jp and mod autism thing.

>> No.14000313

It's largely just a courtesy thing. Chat should really only be talking about the streamer and the contents of the stream. Why bring up topics outside of that?

>> No.14000362

from twitch pov I think they'll like this, with Susan taking more and more of their stars, winning the hearts of cover for more talents seems like a good thing to do since this is could also be their breakthrough into Asian viewers, so from twitch pov I wonder why they haven't tried to do it fr as a way to also invest in cover

>> No.14000420

>>14000060
i assume they see it as complete strangers crashing into someones house without warning.
also while yeah they cant keep up most times anyway, having a chat culture clash suddenly is hard to manage, since people on youtube tend to be more retarded in chat if theyre new to a streamer then on twitch which most people tune out and the remaining chatters get filtered by the streamer

It has advantages but the vod system is pure trash. They would lose most of their adult viewerbase that can't catch everything live or have other life obligations that prevent watching when the stream happens.
